Wonder if dealers would have a supply of new take offs where buyers have went with the Brembo upgrades. I believe it’s an LPO installed by the dealers.

That’s my understanding too. They looked to be regular production units. Not like the red Brembo upgrades. I saw the post on GM-Trucks.com in the section for models up to 2013.

Has anyone looked into the 4 piston calipers that come on the new model pickups? I’d expect a similar or the same offering on the new SUVs.
I saw where someone did the swap on a 2006 pickup. Everything was a direct swap (caliper & rotor). He did use a couple washers to center the caliper...
It’s just personal preference. I like the idea of having something between the plate & frame. I’m under there often enough doing regular maintenance to keep an eye on it. I did the same on my 2015 with no issues.

Here’s a better shot of the seal’s profile, although compressed.
I’m thinking this may work as a replacement to go all the way down the door.

GM marketed the K2XX doors as being triple sealed to reduce noise. I can say it was definitely quieter than this 2012. Even more so when I added the additional piece.

I think the key is bridging the gap to keep the wind noise out. The weatherstripping might get close, but I’m not sure if it will completely fill it.

The gap appears to be the same as the upper part of the door with the seal installed. It might be too tight where the crease is at the bottom of the window.
Challenge accepted, lol

I’m back in the office now, but will measure later today to see if it would go all the way down.
For reference, here’s the K2XX ones.

@Galante, you know you want them for the Denali.

Thinking about the wind noise difference I’m noticing on my 2012 vs. that of the 2015.
The 2015-2020 Escalades have an additional seal that goes all the way down the front of the rear door edge which seals the door gap. It was a noticeable improvement when input it on my 2015 Yukon.
I haven’t...
I’m changing fluids in my new to me 135k mile 2012 Suburban and the coolant is next. While doing so, I thought it might make sense to flush both heater cores. I haven’t seen much info on flushing the rear one. Is there anything I need to be mindful of?

Changed the transfer case fluid (used ACD Dex VI) and gave it my first oil change since I’ve had it.
Put on the Fumoto valve I had on my previous vehicle. Makes draining the oil a much cleaner process.
Used a filter magnet I had on a previous vehicle. I’ll cut it open at the next oil...
On Sat, I swapped out the front & rear differential fluids on the Suburban at 135k miles. The Mityvac fluid dispenser made it very easy.
It doesn’t look like it had been changed by the previous owner.
