Thinking about the wind noise difference I’m noticing on my 2012 vs. that of the 2015.

The 2015-2020 Escalades have an additional seal that goes all the way down the front of the rear door edge which seals the door gap. It was a noticeable improvement when input it on my 2015 Yukon.

I haven’t seen it on the GMT900 Escalades I’ve looked at. Looking at my 2012 Suburban, it seems like the upper seal (red arrow) could be extended all the way down (yellow arrows) for the same effect.

The seal is just press fit on the seam. Anybody know where to get longer lengths?

just buy another new top piece and stick it on the lower portion instead, there will still be a little gap but it should be better I might do the same

You can get universal weatherstripping and glue in place. Probably a thinner profile...

I’m back in the office now, but will measure later today to see if it would go all the way down.

For reference, here’s the K2XX ones.

I dunno, that’s a pretty tight fit between the 2 doors...might have a hard time latching the door fully...
The gap appears to be the same as the upper part of the door with the seal installed. It might be too tight where the crease is at the bottom of the window.

Challenge accepted, lol

I think the key is bridging the gap to keep the wind noise out. The weatherstripping might get close, but I’m not sure if it will completely fill it.

Lol, nah...what I really want is the top of the drivers door to close flush with fender and back door....I hear slight wind noise from there...... I just put the cooled seats on and then I can’t hear *****.....
