Nice. Love the white. I took my side badges off too. I didn’t think they went well. I bought two small 6.2 badges but have not put them on. Not sure where I want them yet, the pillar behind the passenger door or maybe just one on the tailgate. The all black wheels will look great. Good luck...
Yea, I read that it isn't necessary anymore so I did it anyway. I thought I read that there was less chance of lifter failure if oil was changed more frequently. I plan on every 5K miles. That may take me 9 months. I only drive about 25 miles total Monday through Thursdays. weekends more, but...
Only a couple months in. I really love this Tahoe. Don't love the infotainment system, but it's not horrible. I had a 15 Denali that had some weird problems so I traded it. When it was working well , it was a dream. I had an 05 Suburban Z71 that I drove for 8ish years. Sold it for 10K to my best...
Great looking Z71. I was torn between my Dark Ash and Black. Could be happy with both. I am looking into wheel spacers. I like the look. What wheels did it come with?
First oil change ( well, had the dealer) at 1100 miles. Wanted to do it earlier at 500 to 750 miles but was so busy and then appointments were a week out. Using a GMC dealer real close to me where I bought three previous trucks.
I have a hitch rack I used on my Rubicon. Aluminum from Quadratec. Came with a storage bag. Not as fancy as the Yakima in your pic, but my point is that it is light weight, easy and works great when I need it. Also got a cool “hitch” mount for my garage wall for it from Amazon to store it.
You can have a local shop put heat in your seats and install two buttons somewhere. I did it to my Rubicon. Cost about $450 total and they worked fantastic.
I just bought a UDP single catch can. Quality is as described by the OP…excellent. I have not installed yet. I am wondering about warranty issues. Nobody seems to have had a problem or I suspect it would have been posted by now. It looks seriously OEM so I wonder if they would even notice. I...
I had a 5.3 in my 2005 Suburban and it never occurred to me that a 6.2 would be a good thing till I got a 2015 Denali. so I had a bug to get a 6.2 with air suspension. I test drove a very low mileage 2021 Tahoe that looked exactly like mine but had the 5.3 and standard suspension. It was really...
I am also interested in a control module that would let me decide where I want it. Like I would love to be Abel to not only do what you want, but also raise it all the way without being in 4 Lo. I am guessing some aftermarket company will make a plug and play at some point. I’ve google...
I highly recommend the 6.2. Of course I am biased. Took me a couple months or so searching like crazy and found one in transit , in Pennsylvania but only about 80 miles from me. They took my deposit and honored the deal we made ( more in their favor then mine lol)
Maybe I’m biased , but I love those wheels. Black on white looks great and was my second color choice. I tried real winter tires ( Vredsteins) on my 4matic E53 and it was a total beast in snow. Could not believe how good it was. Next best was my 2005 Z71 Suburban with Duratracs. Also a beast in...
At the time I responded to you( previous post) my Tahoe was in transit and I still didn’t know what wheel I was getting. Turns out it’s same one you got and I love them. Very happy.
Denali 22’s and AT4 20’s are very different look. What color are they? Don’t some Denalis come blacked out? pick either one, they will both look great on the SLT depending on the look you like. can you post pics of the two wheels you saw and liked? AT4 would typically be a rugged look and...
I also don’t like trucks with low profile tires. I get it, it’s a look, just not for me. 22 is not that bad and the Escalade V is one truck that they fit. My Z71 not so much. Very happy with my 20’s. My ride is really unbelievable. I think it is the best I’ve ever had and I have said before it...
I never buy tires based on mileage expectations. I drive about 6 miles a day to work/gym and home and a road trip two or three times a year of say 400 miles each. Maybe 8K miles a year. I will get tired of the look way before I would ever wear out a tire. For me it is about handling (...
Even if the bolt pattern is ok, 10mm inboard more sounds like a lot and I am going to say no go. If it fits it would be real close and the look might be off a bit as well being inboard another half inch ( almost half) . I would keep looking for some take offs from another forum member ...
