If you find another source please let me know, I'm still considering one. There is a Developer who has improved the firmware for these radios, I recommend searching for his Facebook page and read there.
I was getting more issues, cruise would intermittently simply not work, if I kept the window down switch pressed down after it stopped closing it would turn the cruise off. Daughter noticed my passenger's side back up light was intermittently not working. I replaced the GM harness for the...
I have not yet purchased one. I would HIGHLY recommend joining the Facebook Page I listed earlier for the developer who has improved the software, there are lots of great bits of info there.
Update with added info:
It appears to be a little intermittent, the cruise stayed on with rera def on BUT as soon as I hiit the rear wiper button the cruise shut off. During tis series of tests the Cruise would work if either the rear Def or rear wiper was on but not both.
Then ~ 10 minutes...
No the bulbs have been in there awhile. They aren't on unless I'm in reverse, and the cruise isn't active then either. I don't see how it could be an issue.
Patient is a 2014 GMC Yukon XL Denali.
The cruise control will "shut off" the icon in the cluster goes away and the cruise stops functioning if the rear window defrost is turned on.
If I turn the defrost off the cruise works again. I tried disconnecting a cable from the rear glass and testing...
I am replacing the passenger's side mirror on my 2014 GMC yukon XL Denali because my Mom hit a tree.
The plastic outside is broken but the rest may be helpful for you if you want it.
The radios are manufactured in China and sold by more than one company, the company I had found is Pheonix automotive
There is a programmer who works to improve the firmware on these radios, here are a couple facebook groups https://www.facebook.com/groups/tesla.style.FW.HU...
+Gents,
The radios are designed to work with our generation of vehicles, and incorporates controls into the radio.
They have released a new updated version that looks quite nice. I havn't purchased one yet because so far it doesn't
appear to support the rear seat entertainment system in a...
I want to stick with stock performance, just replace the parts with non AFM DOD parts and eliminate the AFM DOD part of the ECU programming. I've seen youtube videos where they loosen/lower just a little to access to a oil pump bolt, and are able to remove the oil pump without removing the oil...
2014 GMC Yukon XL Denali 6.2, ~ 145,000 miles now has lifter tick.
I'm looking into delete kits from Texas Speed and https://briantooleyracing.com/ and https://www.texas-speed.com/.
Any other suggested suppliers?
How involved is it to replace the oil pump?
What is the easiest way of having...
I have to readjust the mirror almost everytime.
I've searched but haven't found any info on this, anyone have this problem and know a solution?
Any suggestions on what to check?
I'm eagerly awaiting your review. Does your truck have the rear seat entertainment system? One of my concerns is that last time I talked to them, weren't supporting the rear screrens.
As you search for another vehicle don't be afraid to reach out farther. I live in Michigan and bought mine out of Texas.
Why, lower cost, more selection and no corrosion!
Glad you're safe, good luck on your truck search!
