No there is no difference on mine in intensity between DRL, auto low beam and manually on low beam. Against the white garage wall they all appear to be the same low intensity. The only time the LED strip lights up on my Tahoe is when it is in park during the daylight.- scarbogarage

No difference at all, same dim light. On the county roads at night it was hard to even maintain a good speed when I couldn’t use the high beams.- scarbogarage

My understanding, and correct me if I’m wrong, on the 2015-2017 Tahoe the DRL are the low beam at a reduced brightness. They didn’t go to the DRL on the LED strip untill 2018? I have gathered that from some of the posts I have read. The thing that baffles me is on my Tahoe the light intensity from DRL to low beam doesn’t change at all. Even in the transition it doesn’t flicker or blink it stays the same low level.- scarbogarage
