Thanks Max! That's what I was looking for. The wierd part is that mine wont go to the max slot the other direction (which is the section that I will probably need). I guess I can just clearance on the opposite side... I bought some DJM upper arms and they can only align to almost 3* positive...
No, it's the cam plates. They will go fully positive but there is like ~3/8" of slot left to get to full negative. I want to say that I saw a thread a while back that you had these on yours but maybe I am mistaken and you had the bushings instead.
I'm about to install theses and need to know if I have to elongate the slots in the stock brackets. I know I dont have the full adjustablitly of them. Just curious as the instructions say nothing about doing this.
Sorry to hear about that!! I just don't get some people....ok, well a lot of people!
Are you from Wichita Falls?? Thought it was odd seeing that as that's where I live.
10 ga should be perfectly fine. Try bypassing the inline fuse with 10 ga wire and see what happens. If it still gets hot, and all of the connections are tight and clean as you say, I would try a higher amp rated relay. EIther way check to see how much current the fans are drawing. It would...
Have you tired bypassing the inline fuse? Is your connection at the fan tight and no corrosion on the connections? I assume you spliced into the pigtails of the stock fans and inline fuses, if so did you solder the wires or use butt connectors? Is all of your wire new or did you use old/used...
I have 2 RF amps (T1500 & T600) and have a whine also. I've done everything to try to get rid of it but to no avail I can't. I wish I had some other amps to try to see if I could be as lucky as you so that it would go away. I'd also like to know about soldering the joints.
Have you tried jacking the rear up and put it on jack stands, take the wheels off, then put it in drive so you can take a close look with the axle spinning?
Here's the installation instructions: http://www.s45inc.com/forumpics/2505.pdf
The only info I found was that you need part number 2506. I can't find a cross reference to other brand bjs. I wouldn't just try any bj though due to different tapers for them to seat in the spindle. Try...
I'm about to put all new front suspension parts on and the only thing I didn't get was the drag link. Is it something that would be recommended to install with the rest or will it be fine to reuse?
I agree!! I've been working on my front suspension and disconnected my speed sensors to replace the hubs and both of these lights came on. So maybe one of the speed sensor wire(s) have shorted or the connection needs to be cleaned.
Well I emailed Justin and he said it sounds normal for the 2 pin setup so I'm just going to go with it. I'll see how everything works under driving conditions once I get it drivable...
I'm sure I don't have the wires reversed.
Well I let it sit until the fans kicked on once the engine reached the appropriate temperature. I don't know if they are on low or high as I can only distinguish one speed. Once they kicked on I turned on the A/C and there was no difference in fan...
Is the fan low or high with a/c only? I'm pretty sure when I turn my a/c on both fans come on low. I let the engine run with a/c and never heard the fans kick to high. I can't drive it now since I have all of my front suspension apart so this is all just sitting still.
I got my fans hooked up yesterday and have a couple of questions. How are the fans suppose to cycle on/off & high/low. Do both fans ever act independently? This is in relation to the dual pin 03+ models.
It was right at $40 to my door. I didn't need the whole grille shell, just the grille but I got the whole thing. The person who painted my grille shell took mine out and I haven't heard from him in 3 weeks so I'm pretty sure I won't hear from him again (and at this point I don't care to)...
