    Do you know the size of that wire, it should be 10 gauge wire to handle 30 amps. The intended load of that wire might have been very low, you could melt that wire and others in that harness before a 30 amp fuse would blow. I'd run a dedicated 10 gauge power and ground to power that CB.

    I'd replace those stock rims too, the new ones are similar to the black factory 22s I have on mine. GM needs some help in the rim design dept nowadays.

    Once your car is delivered to the dealer, when do they typically have you come by to sign and then leave with your new car?

    It seems like I'm always waiting for the car to be cleaned while I'm there, make sure you read the window sticker/know what accessories you paid for, I had to go back for an exhaust tip they had forgot to install.

    I had an 03 Escalade with the teak colored interior but the seats were a different type of leather, even today the seats look new but the light colored carpet has some discoloring in certain spots.

    The brakes on my '19 XL were the same way, it felt like the brakes were glazed over. I thought about going to a different rotor and brake material to see if that would help.

    Can you hear the motors trying to move the seat? Maybe something rolled under the seat and stopped the mechanism. There might be a fuse for those motors.

    I've seen that the steering column lock has been unavailable for a long time now, what exactly is this? I picture the old style locked steering column with ignition key off, but today's steering column is different.

    I don't like that the spare tire is mounted below the vehicle. I had an old Silverado and after several Michigan winters you couldn't lower down the spare tire because the hoist rusted up, got the tire down enough to cut the cable. (see diagram on previous post)

    I took a rented Tahoe from Detroit to St.Louis a couple years ago. Driving that truck got me hooked on the big SUVs. A few months later I sold my Acadia and bought a Yukon XL in 2019. Upgraded from the '19 to a '21 SLT XL last fall.

    How happy are you with your 2021/22 Tahoe/Yukon?

    I would like to keep my '21 SLT for a couple years, then get rid of it while it still has value. Maybe I'll trade it for a '24 model if the constraints cut back.
