Does the 6.2 hold more oil than the 5.3?, is there a price difference for an oil change at a GM dealer?

I use the local GM dealer because, to my surprise and amazement, they are much CHEAPER than any of the local quick change places. They were charging $65 for oil change with 8 qts Mobil One AND tire rotation.

I found this to be true as well and used to pretty much only get the oil changed at the dealer but I also found it's kind of a hassle having to make an appointment and they'd want you to drop it off and would take half the day to get it back. Admittedly I'm pretty lax on rotating tires so a 20 minute oil change at an independent place for another $20 has become my norm the last few years.

The local dealer where I live now is about $100 out the door last time I checked for oil, filter and rotation. They're a much smaller dealership than where I used to go

No appointment required but may have to wait up to an hour for them to complete the job. There are usually several of us in the waiting room waiting on oil changes.

Thats pretty handy and would definitely sway me back to the dealer, even at $100 for my local place. Problem for me is I checked in with them to get my 2nd oil change at 10K miles and they were 2 weeks out even for that so had no choice but to go to my usual spot

One of the local dealers had a separate oil change facility just next to their service dept. The service there was terrible, long waits, oily hand prints all over the paint, not doing a complete job. Finally the dealer closed it down and moved everything to the service dept. and now the work is done by real techs.
