I was able to track down another 2022 at CarMax today unexpectedly and low and behold it does the same thing as mine which is just absolutely mind boggling to me that the vehicle would be built this way intentionally
Ah yeah, sorry maybe I misunderstood. My issue was definitely more of a clicking noise which you'd expect from a metal clip hitting something in the wind. I did not have a clunk or anything that could be felt as if something large was loose.
Not sure.
Interestingly enough, I just had my Tahoe into service (again) and they offered me a loaner and told me it was covered when the vehicle is under warranty. My vehicle has been into the dealership for service now like seven times (once for 13 days) and every single time I've asked for a...
There's some sort of clip under the vehicle. I don't know what it does, but the dealer fixed mine. They acted like this clip comes loose and blows and hits the undercarriage when you're driving
I've had an issue for a while with my 2022 Tahoe where the passenger side captain chair touches the rear tire well when it's in the all the way back position and laid down. It's leaving marks on the plastic back there. The dealer keeps saying it's normal and even "compared" it to another model...
Drives me crazy that GM does not do loaner vehicles. That alone is enough to make me look at a company like Infiniti going forward. Yes it’s probably more money for a similar vehicle but when you go in for service even if it’s something as small as an oil change you get a loaner.
As of late nearly every time I get in the vehicle after a few minutes, the built-in android system will say “I’m sorry I don’t understand” as if I said “hey Google” to use the built in smart system. Of course I’ve not said “hey Google” nor have I asked anything.
Anyone else getting this?
I’ve noticed that when CarPlay is connected in my 2022 Tahoe and I receive a phone call, if I move the call to my iPhone rather than talk through the vehicle, the radio will continue playing at that point. The problem is that the volume knob does nothing but turn phone audio up and down (which...
I'm pretty sure that it's just calculating based on recent driving habits. For me, I normally drive in stop and go city traffic to get to work so if I've done that for a week and then fill up, it bases the miles to empty on that last week of stop and go driving. However, I've noticed that after...
Yeah, she said GM may approve me going to a collision center where they'd just remove the panel and replace the adhesive and reapply it. But of course, she kept insisting that in doing that it may make it worse. She also kept insisting "it's not that bad currently" which I actually agree with...
I do have a pic but doesn't do much good. I'm taking it back for other issues in a few weeks and they're going to gather their own pics then and send to GM. But yeah, I agree regarding the language in the warranty booklet. I'm fairly certain she was just feeding me some bs in hopes that I'd say...
I actually spoke with a manager there and asked for where she's seeing the 12k mile warranty period for this. She said it's probably not in the owner's manual and that it's in her GM policy manual under "adjustments" and this panel on the lift gate is just held on by double-sided sticky tape and...
I had my vehicle in the shop for various things and one of those was a gap in one of the panels on the liftgate. Nothing major, but definite gap on the left where there is none on the right side.
The technician confirmed the gap and compared to other vehicles where no gap was noted but he said...
Yeah, with the fob if I auto-start the vehicle, I have to get in and press the brake and then the start button to start it and exit auto-start. In my case, the vehicle seems to enable the heated steering wheel, heated driver seat and windshield defog but no air coming out of the forward facing...
Thanks. Yeah I looked at the manual but it's hard to tell. It says: Remote Start Climate Control Operation : If Equipped: When the vehicle is started remotely, the climate control system, rear window defog— and if equipped, heated or ventilated seats or a heated steering wheel— may run based on...
Maybe this is by design, but I'd assume when it's cold outside and I use remote start, it would try to warm the vehicle prior to my getting in? It seems that the heated seats and steering wheel enable when it's cold, but no air flows out of the vents. Is that working correctly?
My 2022 seems to make a gurgling noise fairly consistently. To me it sounds like it's coming from the front-right engine area but hard to tell. Just sounds like an empty stomach making a noise or something to me. Anyone else's do this? I really only hear it if I've got the radio turned down.
Got a 2022 and ordered the cargo shade with the vehicle and at the dealer they attempted to install the cargo shade for me before I drove it home and the guy scratched the plastic a bit trying to install it and once I saw that I told them forget it and that I needed my money back for it. Wasn't...
Oh wow. Had no idea. I've not received anything in the mail like I have before for other recalls and things. Maybe they don't notify for TSB? But at any rate, I'm going to mention this because one if not both captains chairs make noises at different times. Used to be passenger I'd hear...
Any idea where that heat shield is located? My latest rattle isn't really a rattle so much as it's a kind of slight "pop" or "crack" every now and then. Doesn't do it constantly. Seemingly coming from the back of the vehicle somewhere (sounds inside maybe driver side).
I've never been more...
LOL. Man... I searched all over that vehicle for something that thing could have possibly come off of. I do have an umbrella in the back. I guess one of my kids took the tip off. smh
Thanks
