That car used to be red, and look to have gotten a macco paint job at one point. Being that the car has been living in Kansas, I would assume the car has rust. How long has the current owner owned it ?
For any dyier's, I used the pump shown below to remove the oil and reinstall from the fill hole. Best 30 bucks I even spent.

Around the Houston area, the dealers want over $600 for a full filter and oil flush. I ended up doing my sons 18 camaro 10sp tranny myself.
Misfires are caused by mostly by bad wires or bad coils. Swap out the coils on cylinders 2 and 7 to the other bank. If the miss fire follows the coils, that is your problem.
Why would you wanna just change out the pump only?
With the new pump assembly you get a new level sensor and a new filter.
Due to the amount of work involved in removing the old assembly, I would not wanna cheap out this particular item. My 2c.
The oil you see on the spark plugs are from the crankcase oil vapor. That's why most folks install an oil catch can on their vehicles.
I suggest you replace the drivers side valve cover with the new design. The original design let's to much oil into the air intake in which it is then burn...
