****Update*****

This jumper configuration will not work for 2000-2002, it might work for 2003 + but I can't confirm.

This is how the jumpers must be for 2000-2002.

And I do still have cubbies left. Finally found where i stashed them. Will update my for sale thread soon.

Thanks
So is this the correct way to wire it for a 2000-2002? Your wording says it will not work 2000-2002 then it says this is how it should be. Also do you have anymore pockets?

Yes, for 2000-02 the jumpers must be crossed as in the post you quoted.

I am all sold out of the cubbies until I have another look around the junkyard. If you want to look yourself, these small cubbies are from early 2000s Buick Rendezvous.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I definitely will keep my eye for some as well. Never realized they shared the same rear controls as the suburbans. the bins were pretty rare in the trucks, should be easier finding them in the Buicks but a lot did have the options for the controls.

Well, I have several, some grey some bronze some with the rubber insert and some without. I was thinking $6 w/o and $9 with the rubber plus whatever shipping would be.

I will post some close-up photos tomorrow of what I have.

EDIT : lowered price ; $3 each complete plus shipping. But when using Paypal, select the option as sending money to a friend to avoid paypal fees. Thanks.
I'll take an insert if you still have one

So, I looked at the wiring schematics and figured out how to remove the rear audio controls, keep the stock head unit, keep the stock wiring harness and still have rear speaker and subwoofer functionality. I just jumped the speaker lugs in the RAC connector. View attachment 238807
Now that I fixed this problem, I can remove the HU-to-cassette connector and put everything back together - then move on to the next project.
This is what I've been searching the internet for.

01 tahoe, non bose, with factory sub. Even with factory radio rear driver doesnt work, rear passanger would cut in/out.

Installed aftermarket head unit. Bypassed the factory amp to all door speakers.

Side note: bypassing the factory amp removes all audio source to the amp obviously. So then the factory sub doesn't have an audio signal to play. So I had to jumper at least 1 speaker back to the factory amp. I randomly choose the rear right or left (can't remember).

The really weird part. I Unplugged the rear audio control which means both rear should NOT work at all. But I was still getting some audio to the rear right?!?!?

Anyways. Hopefully sometime this week I can jumper the pins in your photo and see what happens... thank you for that photo!
