I completely agree with @Banks22 statement
@Shaggy I'm part of a Cadillac forum and don't see much traffic as I do on this forum. Most if not all mechanical components are the same to the Tahoes/Yukons/suburbans anyways. You can add a subcategory to the 2021 section for Escalades interior.
I think this is the only way water is going in the tranny if indeed the radiator was bypass. There is a vent hose on the tranny that can also let water in if its not installed properly, I suggest you check that hose out.
Changed the oem Z55 air ride compressor with the Arnott this weekend. Now the air bags hold air. Thanks to @adventurenali92 and @George B for helping me diagnose the issue I had.
I'm still not sure it matters, the pulley is the same (OEM) nothing has changed. It's not like the pulley had a sensor that can read how many times the pulley turns. The service engine has not turned on and don't think it will. How does the engine know that the pulley was swapped out?
I was under the impression that it had to be done when the crankshaft sensor was replaced. First time I hear it needs to done when the harmonic balancer is replaced. I do have the Tech 2 to get it done
From what I have read its mostly on the bottom and on the inner runners, I would still put a bead all the way around on every runner to be on the safe side.
All Yukon Denalis & Escalades have the 6.2L. I have an 05 Yukon Denali and love it. There is only two things that I don't like on the NBS and 1 is that they have a torsion bar set up on the 4wds and 2nd they don't have a steering rack. You can't go wrong with either body style. They are almost...
That's correct the leaks are normally at the runners, I read on another forum that they put a strip of permatex to keep them from leaking. You can check for leaks spraying carburetor cleaner on the runners.
After I cut the hole for my FP like you, I hit up the junkyard and I cut a bigger size floor plate to over lap the hole on my suv. I put foam on it and sealed it, you may wanna do that. I'm not going to comment on fuel line fix, lol
