Yeah man. I guess a brown lawn is better than being out of water though. I haven't washed my Tahoe in months.

Good to know on speedometer adjustment. Every time I get pulled over, cops always ask if I know how fast I was going then kick my tires and ask me if I have aftermarket tires on.
No shit. Have you ever seen a stock SUV running 33" mud tires with a lift? I play dumb and say "officer I thought I...
Thanks for the videos and the help man. I really appreciate it. I'm gonna try to get that sucker installed after class and work today

Wired a green LED array to my fog lights to illuminate my personal logo on my skid plate.
Still deciding how I feel about it. Its a bit ricey, but I kinda like the personal touch at the same time.

Have not checked them out yet. Might need to if and when I want to do HIDs. Gotta get my swaybar sorted out first though haha. I picked up a Moog endlink today but had some issues installing it. Almost seemed like the threaded shaft was a little too short. Anyway, I'm thinking about doing quick...
Just taking a look under the front end a moment ago and noticed im missing a rod that connects my lower a-arm and a bar that connects to the other side. I don't know a ton about IFS. Can someone ID the missing part please?
Here is the intact side:
Here is the side with the rod missing:
For sure man. Do you have aftermarket 3" keys? If so, just head down the the shop and ask them to throw those spacers in their and crank the keys until it sits level. Should only be about 100 bucks for the labor and you can get that extra inch!
So I spent this afternoon retrofitting my OEM headlights and DRL housings with Halos. It was not that bad. Tough at times, but definitely worth it. This mod assumes you've already done the Full Time DRL mod as found in this thread otherwise your halos will only work while your DRL's are on...
Yeah man. Go to a scrap yard and find the first 00-06 Tahoe, Yukon, suburban, Silverado or sierra. I'm sure they all probably have the same intake box

Just had that thought myself. It takes like 30 seconds to swap out the box. I could chop one up and then when Im gonna hit the trails just throw on the unmodified box. 30 seconds of labor and far less risk.
Yeah a snorkel would be sweet, but TBH I don't do a lot of offroad stuff around water. In the past I've had to mob through some small creeks and stuff that were no deeper than my bumper. Im on the fence about this given the limited amount of performance it can give vs the potential risks. I...
Sweet. After work I'm going to see if anyone has fabbed up some brackets and has a template I can use

As long as I can still get through some streams and small water crossings I'll probably cut out a fat hole in my plate and box when I get my hands on the right tools

IDK man, I went with Z71's and 1.5" spacer and about 2.5" cranked on my 3" keys. Super level, better than factory ride (Thanks to the Bilsteins). Worked out really well for me.
When I took my truck and parts to the shop, the mechanics looked at me and said "Thank God you bought Bilsteins" they said that they are the best shocks you can buy and that the only others that come close are KYB. I asked how they differ and they said that the performance is about the same as...
Jesus F**king Christ dude, no need to flip your shit. I wasn't saying that I couldn't cut a large hole in the bottom of the plate and box, as others in this thread have done. I don't really want to bolt the box to my fender. I can still get a large amount of cold air with a large hole in the box...
