I installed the Bilsteins and no regrets , I've used Ranchos in the past and was not pleased at all .

When I took my truck and parts to the shop, the mechanics looked at me and said "Thank God you bought Bilsteins" they said that they are the best shocks you can buy and that the only others that come close are KYB. I asked how they differ and they said that the performance is about the same as Bilsteins, but Bilsteins have straighter and better welds.

Bottom line, don't cheap out on your shocks.

That is cool to hear. There are better rebuildable shocks out there, but nothing anywhere close to the price range of bilsteins
