The power of God! I had to replace my battery and all of a sudden, i'm going hundreds of miles with no CEL. I passed my inspection!!! Not sure if the cataclean had some long term effects that helped, i used like 3 bottles within 2 months
Correction: I paid $28 for the mount LMAO. I discussed on page 13 of thread below:

Yea, I bought the same one off Amazon, well same Anchor brand but I think I paid closer to $60. Lasted less than a year, under 20k miles. You may have better luck than me, I hope you do.
Never drove but did tons of research. I never drove my M3 the way I should because of fear of vanos and subframe issues. Every 3 series or M after that had scary stuff to deal with or high maintenance concerns. With mine, I could afford maintenance but one big issue and car would probably sit...
Oh you are too smart :). The 4DSC was the single college life days. Bimmers were single life, full time working days, Economy car was really supposed to be a beater to lessen miles on bimmer. Sold Bimmer for house and gas guzzler for family. Look forward to going back to Bimmer.

No way that is an H3 but if it is, what a blessing. This job is one of those you wouldnt mind paying premium for part if it will help avoid another reinstall.
Grabbed the DieHard Platinum. I was tempted to grab the H7 version for same price and has higher CCA and all but I was too scared of fitment so I punked out lol
After further research and a good night sleep, I decided to stay with what has done me good and go with the DieHard Platinum. I wanted the higher feature Champion but the DieHard seems to provide same specs as the previous DieHard Advanced Gold battery did. If I can get same life as I did...
I heard the same but that was around the time I bought my Die Hard which was about 6 years ago. Just came from Advanced Auto and confirmed all is good except my CCA is low, down to 209. Definitely grabbing a battery tomorrow. Debating between the...
Thanks! I was looking at the H6 version which has slightly lower specs but if the H7 will fit without modification, thats the way I'm going. Someone mentioned JC being a brand sold at Walmart.

i thought optima had the lower warranty and red had higher warranty? I used to have a yellow optima but was told batteries like DieHard gave a better value. Appreciate the feedback, will compare prices.
Purchased a Diehard Deep Cycle from Sears way back which did me well especially for my audio upgrades. But I see signs its on its way out. Battery I believe is about 5 years old now. Any suggestions for a great price you would get nowadays...
Like many of you, wish i took more pics but this generation has easier access to taking pics/saving pics. My journey started in 2000
95 nissan maxima GLE (converted to 5 speed manual)
97 nissan maxima SE 5 speed manual(both supercharged and turbocharged at different times)

That looks great. I thought those big tesla screens were the next big replacement but this looks like a quality winner. Any side shots from passenger side? Curious how much of a gap away from the console it is
Just wanted to add I used Dura Lube and CEL came on after like 15 miles. Sounds like the new headers/cats is most affordable solution. Any brand preffered?
I need to just shut up sometimes. My CEL came on yesterday, day after my comment LOL. Going to take it in for airbag recall and see if they can confirm what exactly needs to be changed. Cats are the highest bidder...
Just want to share i added cataclean twice and after 200 miles, CEL has not come back yet and I can feel an improvement with driveability. Its like the exhaust got cleared or 02 sensors are functioning better. Less restrictions. Strongly suggest this before replacing any hardware.
I currently have alpine type r tweets which are 1". I did try some ds18 TW120B and though they will fit on the plastic pillar side, they are too deep. I used heavy duty velcro to keep the alpines on the a pillar
I'm at 240k and currently running fine. I did have a stuttering issue at times during low throttle over 30k miles ago, especially if going up hills but that was all but eliminated with Lubegard transmission fluid change. I dont tow, I purchased car at 120k. Fluid/filter changed twice since...
I know for certain I see fluid leak from my exhaust nearer to cat, the same fluid that would probably leak out at end of exhaust. I ordered 2, I'll see if it helps. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks, the bank 2's definitely move a lot, maybe not as much as bank 1's but they definitely move. Anyone ever use Cataclean?
