All right I am thinking about doing the Magnaflow 12909 as that seems to be pretty popular with the 19-20 Sierra/Silverado guys. I am going to keep at least 1 flapper or maybe both as I don’t want drone. The pickup guys still have some issues with drone even though the bed should not resonate...
It is a sweet ride, but would have been solid 15k more sticker over my White high country from what I just built online. air ride , MRC, Adaptive Cruise, and the advanced trailing features are not even available on the base luxury package. You have to step up to premium luxury and add the...
I wonder if we could replace our Light switch to have the Task light button like on the Silverado/Sierra and then hard wire some fog lights somewhere?
Check out this kit....seems so easy and looks like with have the same area but a bit smaller on the front of the Tahoe...
May have answered my own question here. 6.2 = 2 valves and the 5.3 has one.

MY 6.2 has a flapper on both sides of the muffler. If you look at my pic in previous post it is even stamped "adaptive Valve". My understanding is that 19-20 Sierra and Silverado only have it on the Egress side toward the back of the vehicle. My 16 Yukon Denali also had 1 flapper valve...
Also, somebody on another site posted that the 6.2 has 2 flaps. I will get under later and try to confirm.
2 Flap. 1 on each side of the muffler and about a 3 foot long Suitcase...
Mostly a placeholder post.
The 6.2 does not sound very good and feels a bit sluggish. My 2016 Denali hard more pull, was louder, and had a much deeper exhaust note on cold start. I want to get rid of the muffler like I am seeing the guys do on their Sierras and Silverados. However, I...
I got the 4k supplier pricing and was offered 38k on my 16 Yukon Denali with 65k miles. Almost 2-3k over what I was being offered pre-covid when looking at Navigators (happy that I waited).
Having some buyers remorse about the awful OEM Rims on my HC. Pretty sure that the "chrome Inserts" and the large center cap that covers the lugs are all plastic. I have never seen rims on a high end vehicle have so much plastic (or any plastic for that matter). Another issue is that the giant...
Just git back from the dealer... Document ID#5642786 "Installed Butyl tape to Inboard (Driver) Side Airbag connector."
Could be a TSB or recall coming on this.
Was kind of pain getting the clip pushed in the factory lights. and make sure that you install them on the proper side as I failed to RTFM the first time.
I just ordered the Bowtie led puddle lights. FYI... these are not standard on the high country as numerous articles online had led me to believe. Before I pay the dealer to install, it looks like these have a tab that requires a plastic trim tool to remove and should be fairly easy to install...
Finally having this fixed tomorrow. I am told that the part is a Deadener which equals a piece of tape! More updates to follow as I will certainly try and find out which sensor or module needs the tape. I was also told that there is an internal bulletin about this.
For the record the...
I wanted the RES as well in my 2021 High country as I also had it in my 2016 Denali, but I have not seen any High Country in my area with RES. I have done a ton of research on the aftermarket units and the only one not completely off brand Chinese (which all retail for around $500 a pair and...
