I just read that sometimes the ABS module needs bleeding. To do this requires using a tech 2 scan tool to manualy open the combination valve and activate the ABS Pump. I hear it's the only way to clear trapped air. Then do a complete bleed at the wheels. our problem has somthing in common that...- Red97

Same soft sinking pedal. Can't make short hard stops without white knuckles!! I'm original owner and do my own repairs. I have 25 yrs. maint. background. Brakes have allways been basic step by step jobs with great results. This issue with this Tahoe must have a more complex fault that should...- Red97
