Pulled the heads last night. Stock bolts backed off. I wanted to see if any bolts were loose so I used a 3/8 ratchet and almost no effort to loosen the back 2 on the passenger head. Block is good. So that’s a relief. Heads are at the machine shop getting checked out just to be safe. Should be...

The motor was built by a machine shop. The heads were installed by the guy I do side work for. The motor was pulled and dropped in mine when my 5.3 started knocking. I trading my gen 4 6.0 and cash for a already built motor basically.

I have coolant leaking into the cylinders. Smokes when I crank it. Can smell coolant. Gotta wait till I have a spot at the side shop to tear down. Put shit wheels on and swapped with the new truck. Wheels off the new truck will be sold to buy race stars for the yukon

Since I put the 3500 stall in, my trans temps are up 20 degrees. I have the factory tiny cooler outside the radiator. I don’t really beat on my truck but when I want it to go I want it to go. Lol.

Rear temp actuator failed. Stuck on hot. Removed panel an actuator cover. Then I pulled the gear shown in hand and moved the door to cold and reinstalled. Don’t want to spend any money lol

Filled up and reset my trip and mpg thing. Stock 5.3 with just a muffler on 33s I was getting low 13 mpg. So far I’ve driven my daily route and showing 12.4 not bad for a so stock motor
