And this is why vehicle information is needed in the first post.
I'm assuming you have Bose. So yes you need to hook the blue/white remote turn on from the alpine to the Bose amp turn on wire. Don't remember what color it is. Should be pink but search and you'll find it
That's correct. If you have a 03+ and don't want to use the onstar or bose modules, then just run a accessory wire to the fuse box and pic a key on hot to tap into.
That's how I did mine because I enjoy not having all those dang chimes
Na. No rear cup holders. Both my boys are in car seats and each car seat has 2 cup holders lol. My plan was to have the rear of the box hit the floor then screw the jump seat cup holders to it. They fit in pretty good, but my port was right there and didn't need the cup holders anyways.
Correct me if iI'm wrong. But you have to do that for a yukon to denali, or denali to yukon swap as well don't you? So might as well do it with 03+ sierra parts
Edit. Nvm looks like you don't have to.

Yea I made it. There is a build log of it in my signature.

Thanks alot! Wasn't easy. But turned out pretty good. I do miss having all the bass outfront. Just couldn't get enough airspace while keeping all my storage to get it loud...
Na... I used to. Not sure where it went. My wife is in the yukon today so I can't go take a pic.
I just cut me a small rectangular hole the size of the female usb end. Then stuck the usb through about 1/8th and hot glued the back side of it in.
Oh I understand. That's one of the reasons I went the console route. 1 10 down fire ported on 600 rms. But got to a point where that wasn't quite enough for me. So I did 4 12's downfire behind. The 2nd row. And I agree, the carpet does hold up better
Mines in the key hole for the barn door. Love it.
I can see waaay better than when it was on the license plate.

Oh yea, na I definitely can't give up folding the seats down. Might be able to relocate it though. I was very disappointed in rear seat room in this thing. I might try pulling my seats this weekend and looking to see what I can gain.
Thanks alot!
Hey, so I have a yukon xl too and have toyed with the idea of moving the seat back as well. I have my 3rd row removed, never to be used again. So I don't need to be able to access that lever to slide the seat foreward. How far can I actually go back? Haven't gone through un bolting the seat yet...
Yea I'm gonna put them on the front. Also have a nice 2 way paging alarm to put in. Heck that's been sitting in a cabinet in my garage for 2 years lol. Just haven't felt like spending the time to wire it all up.
Well... Went to a kids birthday party last weekend at the mall. Came outside to find someone broke into my yukon and stolet my pioneer double din. Broke the lid off my console, and jacked up my ignition. Not entirely sure how they got in though.
Looks like the tried to pop the door lock out but...
I have had the 6.5 + 5.25 version of those from customspeakerpods.com You just ream out the slots where the grill goes, and then those bolt in. All hidden hardware.
They were plenty stout, but lost alot of midbass as they aren't sealed to the door.
Good. I'm glad you like your depos. I have to make a couple corrections here. The lens is not actually glass. The lens on projector itself is, but not on the housing. Also there is a substantial amount of improvement with a true retrofit. Not just slight. I have a pair of depo denali projectors...
Not sure if your mechanical abilities, but they aren't hard to make. Separate the denali projector and trace the shape on a piece of 1/8 inch aluminum and then do the same for the mini h1. Cut the shapes out and drill some mounting holes... just need a drill, jigsaw with a metal blade and a...
Glad it helped! That's why I made it! There wasn't any info on barn door leds when I did that.
I do like ours over the OPs. Ours are smooth all the way down, his show a bulge out where the reflectors are...
