    Ho Ho Ho CK156 REPS

Wasn't implying you were being a jerk that is why I asked. I just realized now that I bought pseudo chrome. Just pulled up the description from my eBay and it says "PVD 22x9" CHROME 2015 GM STYLE CK156 REPLICA STYLE WHEELS 6x5.5 bolt pattern, +31 offset" I honestly thought PVD was part of...

Thanks for the input, maybe powder coating black will be the way to go if the finish goes to pot, I have never got pricing on chroming anything. I did notice that I did scratch one of the wheels with the plastic center cap when I was popping in a new one, WTF!!! Stock rims you use a...

    Ho Ho Ho CK156 REPS

Yes, ride quality is no worse than the 20, running same tires. I settled on 32 psi cold. I am however experiencing some vibration issues over 50 mph. wheel doesn't shake but I can feel it and it bugs the ever living shit out of me. I took it to a 2nd shop with the road force balancing machine...

To take or not take off the moldings

Leave them on or remove and replace with other molding. I think they look too plain with no molding, like a work truck model.

Get a catch can before any mods.

Put on my airaid intake tube and took a picture of the crap in my intake of my 09 Yukon Denali 6.2. Tips for cleaning? Already installed a catch can, my first mod! There is some smoke in there so hard to see it all with my crappy cell pic, but oil on the bottom with some tan jizz bomb on top.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

MOAR AIR!!! Airaid charge pipe, sticking with the stock element. Sounds great! Tune in May. Also looked down the TB and took a pic, albeit a crappy cell phone one, but a good reason why to put a catch can on a 6.2. Have to figure out how to clean that without wasting an entire day. There...

    Ho Ho Ho CK156 REPS

Here are a few more with the camera. One correction on an earlier post, the rep 22's were 83.6 lbs mounted not 86. The stock 20's with Bridgestone Alenza 275/55 were 80 lbs on the nose. So, only about 4 lbs difference between them. Here are a few pics, only got to drive it a few miles and...

    Ho Ho Ho CK156 REPS

Lookin good Russ! Got mine on tonight. The 22 with Bridgestone Dueler h/l Alenza were 86 lb. Stock 20 Denali wheels with same tire were 80. The stock 20 tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Teaser from the garage, I will get better pics this weekend that are not crappy phone pics. Have to...

Black Bear Performance Tune, Chicago, IL, May 4-6, 2015

On my 08 Sierra Denali the biggest change was responsiveness. I had all the nannies turned off the torque management on the engine and tranny. Step on the gas and go. My mpg stayed the same. Drive ability was much much better. Had the Rev limiter bumped a few hundred rpms per Justins...

    Ho Ho Ho CK156 REPS

Got some GM TPMS from Amazon. Getting some Bridgestone Dueler h/l Alenza from Discount Tire installed this week. Wanted to get tires from a local tire shop, but in the town I live in about an hour north of Milwaukee they were a bunch of chuckle heads, wouldn't negotiate price on tires, were...

Wheel Question. Swapping OEM 20's for OEM 18's?

I don't know if you do a lot of snow driving or not, but I had Cooper Zeon LTZ on my old 08 Sierra Denali and I thought they sucked in the snow after they got 10k miles on them. When I got rid of that truck they had 40k on them and still had quite a bit of life before the wear bars, about 3/8"...

39.4 lbs is what one weighed on my home scale. Weighed myself 3 times and myself holding the rim 3 times and got the same weight every time. Shouldn't have drug your feet on the purchase! When I bought mine earlier in the week there were 2 sets available. He had or best offer and I through...

This is where I put mine. I did clean off the red loctite from the bracket, didn't want that nut coming loose! Quite the monster bracket you get with this guy.

IMPORTANT: The Chronicles of Low Oil Pressure by 07burb

Ran my wife's 04 TL to 246k with no issues on pennzoil platinum and wal mart purolator filters and no issues on my 08 Sierra Denali with it either. Sold the SD and got 09 yukon denali and noticed low oil pressure like around 20 psi, had 5 month old dealer oil and filter. Put in the platinum...

Will 15mm offset rub on 09 Yukon Denali

Thanks for the clarification, I had the offset backwards. Sounds like the 38mm is the route I need to go. 15mm offset would be if I wanted to put it in the weeds! Which I don't, but may end up lowering it a little... Thanks again Steve!
