Finally feeling better that I can get back under the Tahoe and do some preventative maintenance. She’s now at 115,000 ish miles.
Getting a stock filter for the trans, what’s everyone using for fluid and gaskets? Stick with Dino fluid or go synthetic?
Have diff fluid for front and rear...
Tony is correct, check engine light on. No passy passy, until it is fixed or cleared. Then it needs to be driven for xxx miles before it is able to be hooked up and tested.
I do have GM’s upfitters info, in fact the diagram they show on it is the same as what I found in the glove box. It’s the small 22 ish guage wires I’m wonder if they did power the lights upfront in the grill and the strobes in the headlights.
I’m trying like hell not to run more wiring thru...
Ok in this pic, the plastic panel closest to the gas pedal. Does yours have a part #, mine is missing, messed up part is I have somehow torn my pants leg 3 times on it.

Ok how do you remove the frigging glove box on these trucks, used to be a few 7mm screws and the whole thing came out.
I’m trying to get to the aux. fuses relays that are installed for police use up high in the dash. Hopefully don’t need to remove the dash top. Need to drive this tomorrow...
frigg that shoots my idea on the Velcro. Wait a minute, “joking”. Rivet gun the bastards to the floor! Some silicone around the rivets boom not moving anymore!
What hack jobs did you do to your mats?
I’m considering putting Velcro on the backsides of the mats in a few places and seeing if that works.
This is the first vehicle I’ve had the issue with them folding over.
Both my wife’s Saturn Aura has had a set in there for years now. My totaled...
