I ended up paying a little extra for options on my Premium as I didn’t need the fancy 22” wheels, although they do look nice. Overall I think they cost about $2k more and on top of such an expensive vehicle that amount of money really didn’t matter at that point.
Something I thought would be...
That’s the one reason why I stayed away from the 6.2, even though it would’ve been nice.
The owners manual says it’s required for the 6.2. Some other posts talked about how you might get a knocking noise due to how the timing might get messed up by not using premium. Here in Iowa it would...
Wow...that is just nuts. I hope that's a rare condition, but it's hard to tell on these.
I'm up to 3,800 miles on mine and it doesn't give me a piece of mind about the longevity of this new model reading this along with the lifter issues on this forum. I've had several other vehicles in the...
Yeah, I'm thinking that's normal...sounds a lot like mine which so far hasn't had any lifter issues. When idling, I do hear some ticks but those have always been present.
Generally in my ‘21 Tahoe with the smaller 5.3L V8 I’ll get about 13 MPG around town which is mostly slow stop/go driving with the start/stop disabled.
Your Caddy I’m assuming has the 6.2L and is AWD??? If it’s AWD with the larger motor that will knock a few MPG off so 10-11 around town would...
Yeah my ‘21 Premiere does that. If I don’t have the middle row forward a little, the 3rd row won’t fold down all the way and it catches. It’s annoying because then I have to go move that middle row seat forward a little then go back to folding the seats down.
Coincidentally my wife’s ‘20...
I do think that’s the dumbest thing on my $70k 2021 Tahoe Premier model with it having regular light bulbs for tail lights. My 2012 GMC Acadia Denali had LED tail lights and several cheaper cars today have them.
According to this new TSB it shows the bad lifters were installed in vehicles between Sept 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021.

I’ve noticed a similar thing…after running a bit on a hot day, it will be cold initially then it seems as though it’s warmer when it should be cooler. I agree that maybe a temp sensor or possibly a software algorithm with how it calculates how much cold air to mix in.
For now my trick is...
Depending on when it was built, you might have been fine as from other posts it doesn’t sound like all are affected.
There’s someone that recently posted theirs was built in March and has over 10k miles on it with no issues.
Mine was also built in March but I’ve only got 3,700 on it so far...
I’ve got the Premier model without the air ride (just magnetic ride) and no issues so far.
Mine was built in March and I bought it in April…so far I’ve got 3,400 miles on it and I’m pleasantly surprised.
I’ve been reading a lot of posts here and I don’t recall seeing issues with the air...
I haven’t experienced that in my ‘21 Tahoe yet but I did learn on my old ‘17 Acadia to never leave the HVAC controls set to recirculate. Pretty sure that’s what caused it on that vehicle so I’d taken the same stance on the Tahoe and just leave it set to Auto all the time and let it control the...
Here’s another post from GM Authority on what dealers typically do for lifter failures which sounds consistent with what others on here have posted.

That’s interesting. It still hasn’t done it on the right for me but the left it seems to happen often since they installed that software update.
Mine was built in March ‘21…if yours is newer it’s possible you have that newer version of the software already that triggered the issue in mine.
GM Authority just added a blog post about them getting a lot of complaints on the lifter issues. Maybe their investigation will turn up more info too

If it’s clear and dries on the pavement and the A/C or defrost was on, then it’s probably drainage from the AC condenser.
My ‘21 Tahoe makes a sizzling noise when I park it after running the AC which seems to be normal from another thread on here. Looks like it’s dripping mead the same...
I do know at highway speeds when there’s a lot of background noise the turn signal clicking can be easily drowned out. I run into that all the time too, but when this issue is cropping up I’m usually at a low speed or at a stop light…I’d hear it click like normal, then the clicks stop for 3-4...
Just an update on the turn signal glitch...it still does it, but I've been able to confirm that it only does it when the left turn signal is on. It's just very strange...the turn signal indicator light on the gauge cluster will continue to flash, but no turn signal noise can be heard for about...
Normally for reference I’d go to
GMPartsDirect.com but you’re right…there’s nothing there for external body components.
my assumption is it could be but guessing you’ll have to go through your dealer or better yet if they have a body shop, go through them and maybe they can figure out a...
