I like that! Johnny Cash would too.

    Past NBS rides

My favorite past truck, 4.8 and a 5 speed. It was a blast. I still own this one, 2003 2500HD 4wd RCLB, sitting at 314k miles. For fun a few of my previous not NBS vehicles. The 97 Firebird, it was my mobile office during the week, logging 5-6,000 miles a month. On weekends I showed it...

    Kenwood DDX395 install

It is my understanding they still will play with headphones. I have not tried it though.

    Kenwood DDX395 install

Awesome, It is amusing to me, I was just looking at the Kappa 62.11's for the Denali. I have a set of 6030cs Reference still in the box but they will require more power than the LUX amp will feed them. The 62.11's reportedly do better with lower RMS. We may have to try a pair of them.

    Kenwood DDX395 install

How do the 62.11's sound with just the head unit driving them?

    Kenwood DDX395 install

In order for the RSE to play sound through the vehicle speakers, you have to have an audio input on the head unit. The two rcs plugs from the PAC will go into that audio input. My Kenwood does not have it, but it does have a 3.5mm plug for an Ipod, so I may get an adapter to go from the rca to...

    Kenwood Head Unit

I wrapped the plug with tape to keep it from grounding out on anything. There should also be a turn switch to select the correct brand, on the Pac rp5-gm11 you turn it to 3 for Kenwood. I did not pull up the instructions for your exact one though.

    Kenwood Head Unit

For a Kenwood, only the Blue/Yellow wire is used for SWC, the mini jack is for other brands of stereos.

    XLDenali06's Build Thread

I am watching this with great interest, I may be doing the same thing before long, but not as high. I have never done the lift before but it makes sense that it lifted the driver side too much, they work in pairs on the lift. You should be able to lower the front to desired height by loosening...

New Member with New to me Yukon XL Denali

Welcome from Central Texas Jon, we just picked up a 2003 XL Denali ourselves. This is the best place to get information on these wonderful vehicles.

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

I replaced the windshield washer reservoir this morning. I did not do a full write up, there are plenty of them out there already, but grabbed a few pics once I remembered to grab the camera. This certainly is not a difficult job, but it can be a bit of a pain if there is any corrosion on the...

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

Mark, I went back and re-read this entire thread looking for ideas for our Denali. I was so intrigued by reading and all of the possibilities that I did not make a list. This thread should be required reading for anyone who buys one of these vehicles. I will have to go back and jot down some...

He parked across the lines too, not in them, but to fair, it is Dallas.

Let Me See Your Tahoe, Yukon, Or Denali!

The wife's secondary ride and our traveling vehicle, my toy. Dealer photo because it has been raining since we got it and it is covered in mud.

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

Backup camera is installed, what a friggin' pain that was, the rain did not help. The first camera arrived DOA, Amazon promptly sent a replacement that arrived yesterday. The PAC RP5-GM11 is supposed to have a backup light trigger wire, but mine does not, so I ran a wire from the passenger...

Rocket Man's 2008 Bagged CC Silverado Build AKA "THE MACHINE"

I used to have a 2002 RCSB 4x4 lifted with the 4.8 and a 5 speed. Full Gibson exhaust and headers, it was surprisingly quick.

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

No argument from me, time will tell how much a fuss she puts up. The backup camera, left rear stock speaker and oil pressure sender arrived yesterday. Of course it raining again and my shop is a storage area currently. It will have to wait. I also picked up a cold, so I feel lousy on top of...

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

I would love to, but this is the wifes ride and she likes quiet. This is a supplemental vehicle for her, she has racked up almost 70k on her 2015 Z71. I may sneak a few mods in there though. :D

Agreed, it is surprising, to me, I live out in the sticks and our dirty, muddy roads take their toll on cleanliness.

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

Yesterday I put back in the Kenwood it had when the car lot took it in, they claimed it was draining the battery and put in a cheapo Dual unit from WalMart. I asked for the old one back and fortunately they still had it. The wiring had been hacked a few times, but not the stock plug, just...

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

There are a few dirty places, like the hydro-boost and the power steering which showed up better with the camera flash. I see no indication the car lot detailed the engine bay. This Denali lives it's whole life in the DFW Metro.

    Toni's 03 XL Denali Resurection

A few engine bay pics, the rain stopped long enough to get it done.
