Had some interest in my Kenwood install,.. so here it is'

Kenwood DDX 395 - http://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/excelon/ddx395/

Metra Dash Kit - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120952001/Metra-95-2001-Dash-Kit.html?tp=3121

GM Antenna Adapter - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_12040GM10/Metra-40-GM10-Antenna-Adapter.html?tp=2569

PAC Interface - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pac-RP5-GM...ash=item5d6e2e76b4:g:fcEAAOSw1LRZuVn2&vxp=mtr

Back up camera - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof...634534&hash=item2f16b68e5e:g:5sIAAOSwfdBal1-U

Speakers - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_1086211I/Infinity-Kappa-62-11i.html

Disconnect Negative terminal from Battery
Remove Dash Bezel by carefully prying around edge and popping off the clips
Remove oem stereo via (3) 7mm hex heads, then carefully unplug from oem connectors.
Install Interface according to diagrams supplied in kit, If your truck is not equiped with Steering Wheel Controls (SWC) then you can opt for the less expensive interface (w/out swc) but be sure and get the proper interface, it makes a difference weather you have Bose, Bose Premium, OnStar, SWC, ect Dash kit and Antenna adapter are pretty self explanatory but for me the supplied brackets just attach to the side of the head unit and then attach to the dash using the same (3) 7mm hex heads.
Best way to determine which interface you need for your truck is to log on to crutchfield.com and enter for vehicles information. If you buy the entire package from them the interface is greatly discounted AND they supply explicit install directions for free. They even have a service where THEY splice everything together for you for an addition $19.99. I highly recommend going through Crutchfield for convenience and excellent pricing,( I am in no way affiliated)... although the prices on Ebay.com are comparable, you wont get the customer convenience and service.
One thing that I must note for the persons with SWC; The interface has two separate wires for SWC, one is a black cable with micro jack,... the other is just a Blue/Yellow wire, on my specific Kenwood, only the Blue/Yellow wire gets connected, leave the black micro jack cable in its protective boot, it does not get used. There is also a dial on the interface that gets set to the specific brand of head unit you are installing,... that will be clearly explained in the directions from the Interface. You can aslo adjust the volume of you door and warning chimes via the little black box,...for me 'low' is good.
Also, dont forget to attach the supplies microphone, Rear Camera Cable, RCA cables, USB cable, and what ever else you will be connecting to the BACK of your head unit PRIOR to the final placement of the unit. I ran the microphone wire behind the bezel and clipped to the bottom right edge of the speedo gauge, I ran the USB and camera cables down to the drivers side foot well and under the carpet. The USB cable is excellent for many reasons, I currently have a flash drive connected to it with literally thousands of songs, video's, ect. (I have one of my son's races on video which we have a blast showing off to friends.) There is also a particular wire from the oem harness to connect if you chose to have the reverse camera come on when you shift to reverse, or you can manually turn it on via the head unit.
There may be many things Im leaving out here so feel free to ask and maybe I can answer,... I will be adding to this as I remember little things about my install.

In order for the RSE to play sound through the vehicle speakers, you have to have an audio input on the head unit. The two rcs plugs from the PAC will go into that audio input. My Kenwood does not have it, but it does have a 3.5mm plug for an Ipod, so I may get an adapter to go from the rca to 3.5mm plug so I can play movies in the rear and have sound come through the speakers.
