    Interesting Suburban

Yeah but I live out in the sticks. I am sure GMCS will catch up to it.

    Interesting Suburban

Still no word back from GM Customer Service on RPO codes, or anything. I hope they are all on a tropical beach with a nice drink watching bikini clad natives playing volleyball in the sand. :D

    Interesting Suburban

I found that thread earlier, there are places I have not explored here completely but I am getting there. I do not know if I will get it, the rarity is cool but I am not in a hurry and there are still so many Denalis left to look at. The red isn’t my choice of colors, it invited tickets too...

    Interesting Suburban

The only thing I see that is dirty is the exterior. The rest of the interior is clean. They radio buttoms only have one that is showing wear, I have seen many that are completely worn off.

The 6.0 is the LQ4 which I believe was up to 335 hp. It does have everything you describe Scott. The miles are higher than I want at 175k but high miles are the norm in Central Texas. It has NAV but does not appear to have a backup camera, the interior is in excellent condition and it has the...

    Interesting Suburban

Back story...I have been shopping 2001 to 2002 Yukon XL Denali, for the ride quality, the viscous coupling for the AWD and because I love the look. I have looked at 2003-2006 XL Denalis as well, and for grins 2000 to 2006 Suburban and Yukon XL but they must be 4wd. I have not found a shortage...

    Intermittent clacking noise

A video of it running from the engine bay would help a lot, reflected sound isn’t quite accurate enough.

If you haven’t done a motor flush, I would. The oil galleries in the lifters are small and can get clogged easily. It is fairly common and easily rectified. If a good flush doesn’t fix it you may be pulling heads.

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

I still have a dirt bike to ride around on the farm, I sold my bikes long ago and won’t ever go back. Too many idiots on the road.

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

The stuff works, my old BMW was a mess from the guy I bought it from, short trips really sludge an engine up. After two treatments it was clean under the valve covers. I now do it to every vehicle I get. I really love what you have done to the Yukon. I will never go to those lengths but this...

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

Thanks, the house was a huge undertaking for this old body, so much in fact I had an LAD heart attack on Aug. 4 2016 and was back working on the house in two weeks. The 313k mile 6.0 is in a 2003 2500HD 4x4, RCLB. Today it is our farm truck but it lived the first 270k miles as an ATT...

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

New member, I binge read this entire thread last night. I admire your perseverance and determination. I will be 54 next month and two years ago I started building our 3500 sq ft house, all by myself, so seeing you tackle these projects makes me feel great. I haven't picked up my future Yukon...
