How do you like those side mirrors? They look like the Ford style and they look good by the way. I'm thinking about going with them. Mine don't have the blinker lights in them but I can tap into the wires somewhere to make those work.
Yea, I guess that is all. So, not really a big deal. You are only to use Pro-Charger oil and I change mine every 3000 miles. It's just a pain if you forget to order it when you use the last bottle. I've seen others have used different brands of oil but then you follow them along and they seem to...
Looks great and Awesome color.
I love my Pro-Charger but if I had to do it again I would go with a PD blower. Comes in sooner and less maintenance. Twin turbo's look cool and make a lot of power. Seems the way most are going now days.
Congrat's on your purchase. Does it just rev in reverse with no movement as if it was in neutral? Do you fell it shift into reverse but slips and will not move?
My brakes have gotten slightly better over time but no where close to what they were before the brake line replacement. It really sounds like I have air trapped in my MC. I would have thought that even if it did have air in it that all the bleeding I have done and have had done would have got it...
Thanks for the update. I will check mine to see if the weights are lined up. Mine seems to be better now that I have been driving it in Auto 4WD and not in 2 high. I got into some grass and used 4WD high and 4WD low then put it in Auto and left it there. I tore up the grass pretty good with me...
I have also have an issue with the peddle now needing to be pushed further that before I changed my brake lines. I don't recall pushing the peddle further down when the brake line burst in my garage. I had it on jack stands with it running trying to find a slight vibration and when I hit the...
Reprogrammed my Yukon XL with my old Superchips programmer. I have had it for 12 yrs just sitting around and to be honest, I forgot about it. Used to use it on a 97 truck I had. I was needing to correct my speedometer and it hit me that I had it and it would do it, so I went ahead and used the...
Used Castrol Super Clean first then pressure washed it to get some of the big chunks and the oil and grease off.
A lot of wire brushes from Harbor Freight and a chipping hammer. (like for welding) It gets the big stuff off and gets into the small places that are hard to brush.
Rust-oleum Rust...
If it were me, I would do just this part of Erickk120's advice. I bet your pinion bearing is OK and it is just the carrier bearings that need to be changed. This would be the most cost effective easiest fix. Others would say that you would be crazy to just do this and everything should be...
That is why I spent many evening with rust remover, scrapers, wire brushes and grinder with a wire wheel under mine last summer. It was tough work but the results were worth the effort. This summer I am going to work on the inside of the frame, cleaning and then coating with some great product...
That is the tab that holds the adjusting nut in place. What probably happened is it broke off and let the adjusting nut back out just a little and that is what caused the damage to the bearing. It can be fixed.
