Not to my liking - I would like a direct grille replacement in chrome.
Apparently, there's no engine or tranny on this one as of late and
I don't know when the pic was taken. Hope the deal goes through.
Found a guy who is scrapping an '08 LTZ. I'm buying 2 front door panels, 2 post pillars and 2 lift gate panels to replace ones I have that are holed. Sadly, his grille and bumper are modified. He's selling me all 6 parts for less than one door panel from a dealer, so I think I'm getting a pretty...
That's a great looking Tahoe ! Wish mine was available that colour.
I didn't like white, so I bought a '14 2WD PPV in black. I've got
some holes as well and simply use rubber plugs to hide them.
I'll eventually replace the plastic pillars - can't stand those
holes either.........!
Hope you find a nice one. I have a 2014 from Sask as well and I think I got a pretty decent one. Still getting used to the firm ride, but it is a truck after all.....
Hi guys and gals. Would anyone in the Toronto area like to trade their rear end "reinforcement bar" with tow hitch for a plain one ? I need it for towing a camper with my 2014 2WD PPV Tahoe.
Hi guys. I have a '14 2WD PPV Tahoe - My headlight switch died as well. Is this a fairly common problem ? I tapped on it and it flashed on for a second but doesn't stay lit. The dimmer switch is fine.
Is it my understanding that the switch itself can be replaced and not the entire panel.........?
Thanks everyone !
Richard, I'd like to lift/level it a couple of inches and put on
some stock Chev rims. Lol - I'm thinking 18" to 20", so nothing too wild ! Maybe a bit of chrome here
and there. That's about it.........
So far, I've fixed the front jumpseat, replaced two inner roof
vents, and just now replaced the appliques above the tail
lights which were holed (Thanks KBones !). As you can
see, there is still snow on the ground up here,
and it's a balmy -3 degrees Celsius.
Having the recall serviced Monday...
Managed several more pics despite the rain today. Still need to
get out and give her a good and thorough cleaning before
repairs begin, but it's still winter up here. Most of it is
minor cosmetics that I can accomplish within
a few hours with the right parts.
A lot of the trucks I'd been...
Me too - Great thread.
For all us newbies with PPV's looking to civilianize, refurb or restore
our rides, this info would be beneficial. Many basic questions
can be answered, and easy solutions to problems can be
addressed by experienced members who have
already figured them out..........
