    Spring too close to Frame?

I’ve had an issue with my DJM links from day 1. I even had to remove the bolt that bolts the shock bracket on and weld it to the axle. You can see in the bottom of the first picture, the sway bar practically sits over the bracket on the axle

    Time for a c-notch

that’s all the room I have left. Just enough to fit a 24 pack of water bottles lol 2-1/2” wide is all I need

    Time for a c-notch

I had 24’s on it but the drop requires nothing bigger than a 30.5” tire, which makes the tire very small. I broke one of my wheels the first day I had them on the truck so I went back to 20’s with a 255/50/20, which is a factory Range Rover tire so they’re fairly common and cheap

    Time for a c-notch

It’s a 6” drop spring but there’s about 700lbs in audio in the back so that dropped it another 1” how wide is the piece of tubing? I was trying to find 1/2” wall but couldn’t find anything smaller than 6.5” OD and that’s too big

    Time for a c-notch

Snow that I was too lazy to clean off lol I LOVE the way it looks but it rides like absolute dog shit and I keep breaking belts in my tires since they’re pretty much the only sort of suspension I have now The frame needs more cutting and hammering for the panhard bar it’s getting a round...

    Recommend a rear seat cover

thanks. This is the route I’m going to go

    Time for a c-notch

With any more than 3/4 tank of gas, the frame actually sits on the panhard bar mount and axle. Obviously I didn’t trim the frame enough to clear the panhard mount on the axle but the frame will be c-notched soon for some actual suspension travel

    Recommend a rear seat cover

I have one of those seat protectors but I need more of a cover. I have amps and a bunch of wiring under my rear seat and I don’t want anything to spill into the split in the seat and cause an issue

    Recommend a rear seat cover

I’m having my first child in a month and really want a full rear seat cover. Any brands you guys recommend? I’ve never bought covers before so I have no idea which brands to stay away from

    No rear swaybar

Already have that kit and yes it’s installed properly. Like I said I’m not the first person to run into this problem with a big static drop in the rear
  15. Doug118

    No rear swaybar

this is the bolt it rides on. I’ll get under and see if there’s a way to just zip tie it up after disconnecting the links

    No rear swaybar

every time I’ve seen someone say they have the exact same problem, they say “it shouldn’t do that, it must be installed wrong” so I’m not even going to bother asking them I just don’t want to go through the trouble of removing it, have it handle poorly, then have to reinstall

    No rear swaybar

    Thanks for your useless reponse
  18. Doug118

    No rear swaybar

Has anyone removed their rear swaybar on 4/6 drops? Mine is riding on the control arm bolt and it makes the truck do some funky stuff when going over off-axis bumps. Before I go through the struggle to remove it, I want to see if anyone has taken theirs out and not regretted it

Here’s how mine was done. Don’t mind the shitty lighting

    Cooled seat swap

I searched and couldn’t find an exact answer. What’s required to swap cooled seats to my 07 LTZ? I already have heated seats but not cooled. Will the existing harness work and just swap the seats or is it an entirely different harness?

    Trying to get low

Not sure what this equates to drop wise but this is where it sits with half a tank of fuel. front is at 29-3/4” and rear is at 30-7/16”

    Trying to get low

You can notch up to the spring pocket. Someone on Facebook sent me these of how he did his truck. When I get mine done, I’ll just be cutting a 5” pipe in half and doing round notches

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

that’s insanely cheap. I paid $600 to get my entire suburban done, including windshield. Non-ceramic. But I know the guy who did it and it came out flawless so I’m not mad at the pride I paid

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

To prevent the quarter panel from tearing more than it already has
  25. Doug118

    Project overboard

It’s the sheet metal on the inner quarter panel. The poor truck is literally being torn apart
