That Evans waterless coolant is like 60 bucks a gallon. I've heard of people running it in motorcycles and atv/utv but I don't know much about it. I'll just stick with dexcool in the yukon it's treated me good so far.
Could it be one of them buy here, pay here kind of places where you pay every week and if you don't they can shut off the vehicle. Maybe the dealer or someone installed it awhile go since he said it looks like it's hooked to the ignition. The one guy I worked with had one in his vehicle and it...
Yeah i know that's a normal ring that happens but he said they were getting close to 90 or 100k and just didn't want him to go thru the bs i had to go thru to get mine off. I didn't know if they use salt and stuff on the roads where he lives or not. Mine looked about the same and the vanes in...
Like i said mine have marks on the inside too but nothing that bad. I just figured it was from hitting the million pot holes pa/md have and some on the interstates are nasty. I would change them rotors soon if you have rust issues where you live. My front rotors looked the same way, junk like...
Mine has them inside but no where near that bad. That rotor ain't looking to good. Do you live in a area that uses salt or that other junk they spray on the roads?
Ok gotcha sorry about that, have you tried taking off the positive battery terminal for awhile and or the fuse. That way it kind of resets things and could maybe learn your new key fob. I know with my 01 yukon seems like doing something simple like that will fix shit.
What does that symbol mean? Everything I'm finding is saying that way. I even found a ac-delco manual and it said that way. What kind of key fobs are they bud?
If that doesn't work, i believe this one will at least i hope it does for you cause i know you are probably stressed.

I usually get around 13.5 to high 14's depending on what kind of driving I do. The biggest thing that hurts my mileage is sitting and idling. I sit in my vehicle alot cause I'm disabled from a head on accident. My pap would always get on me about it and I started keeping track and I'll get high...
@Diesel6point6 I got the same gates water pump and the thermostat housing i got is the gates 33910 works fine so if that's what you got you're good to go.
Hey i have a 01 yukon 5.3 and was using 5w30 castrol/castrol high mileage since like 2009. Just in the past year or two i switched to castrol full synthetic high mileage. Never had a problem with my oil pressure, it would usually run around 40 at idle. Mostly used k&n and puralator filters. My...
I usually use olive or canola oil and i have a rubber hose with a hose clamp where the filter should be. Then i have the other end of the hose hooked to the oil pick tube. Works great
@5strmtrp, I just watched a show today with the 5 best all terrain tires for snow and ice plus just how they wore in general and those tires were rated #1 and falken wp at3 was 2nd. I really like them what did you end up paying for them?
I hope the permatex stuff works out for you bud. You will have to let us know if it does cause I'm getting ready to do some exhaust work and if I have any issues then I'll know.

I wonder if something like this would work or wrap the heat mesh you can put around headers on it. Wrap it around 1st then put the clamp on. I don't know just throwing out ideas. If all else fails there's always duct tape lol
