    Yeah I've been thinking about getting a 2wd Tahoe/Yukon cause it doesn't seem we get enough snow around my area anymore to keep getting a 4×4. I figured i could just throw some weight in the back if I get a 2wd and it snows.

    I got a 01 yukon 4×4 5.3 with 3.73 gears and city driving i get like 12.5 to 13.5 mpg. On the highway usually between 14 and 15. I don't understand how people are getting 18 mpg and over cause I'm always easy on the throttle and can never get past like 15 mpg

    That's exactly where mine cracked at and i put bars leak in which fixed it good enough until i got a new radiator. I've never had a problem with dex cool and my vehicle has 330,000 on it. I would just make sure you flush the old antifreeze out when you put your new radiator on.

    I've had my 01 yukon slt since 2009 when I bought it with i think 93000 miles on it. I've been wanting to get a newer yukon/Tahoe for a while now, what years do you guys recommend? I have 13g's saved back for one and i know I've read some years seem to have more problems than others.

    I would definitely drive it and see if you could get it cheaper. I have a 01 yukon slt with the z55 with 329,000 miles and it still rides better than most vehicles i ride in. I read the whole post now and see you bought it good luck with it. If you're happy with it that's what matters.

    I know it's a old thread like people are saying but just wondering if anyone found anything out. I've been looking for one for my 01 yukon and I found one on a oem gm site but the thing was discontinued. I've never had so much trouble finding what I thought would be a simple thing.

    I got Wagner rotors and pads all the way around with the protective rust coating because of living in PA and salt just eats everything. I've had them on for a year or year and half. Have had no issues with them at all. I put new hydraulic hoses on too while I was replacing everything.

    Shell here in Greencastle, PA is 2.27 right now. It's right off interstate 81 and there's like 5 gas stations off that exit an they all try to stay around the same price.     Yeah i live about 10 minutes from Greencastle and I try to get Shell or ExxonMobil there as much as I can. I'm in Maryland alot being only a few minutes away from the border and there gas is usually 20 to 30 cents cheaper so it makes it hard to choose sometimes. There's a ac&t here that still...
