Ran winter tires on my old truck for years. They do really work. One thing to keep in mind. Those tires (the good ones) are noisy. If you're driving on a slick road and they go quiet, be real careful, you're on bare "black" ice and even those tires won't do much for a quick stop. And those tires have a pretty deep tread usually, when they get half worn out they make a decent good weather tire for a couple more years of use.

I had a set for a while before I traded the truck. They worked well in the snow and drove nice on dry pavement.
I think I'm going to get a set of them. I always deal with this little tire shop near my house. I hoping we have a bad winter here in PA. I love taking the yukon out.

I’ve always said, if you have never drove or have done donuts in the snow, you’ve never really driven...if ya know, you know..
