    We all know the HD hood will fit on our tahoes but will the stock 1500 hood fit on a HD truck? I've searched but either missed the answer or it's not out there. We have an 01 dually at work and I might look into trading my stock hood for the HD hood if they're interchangable.

    It's almost centered on the top of the back of the block but slighty more on the driver's side if that makes sense.     Thanks! I have a fiberglass ram air hood so no liner for me. I've used simple green and the shower setting on the hose and it came out fine with no problems. Here's the cleaning thread I got it from.

    Has anyone done the superchip tunes?

    I used the same tuner almost two years ago to the day and haven't had any trouble at all (knocking on wood). It really woke it up for what it is but it's no custom tune. I just did the 87 and stuck with it but I might have to switch it for the 91. I say go for it!
