    Just to update, I enlarged the holes on the glass latch about as far as you can go to move the latch more forward, after doing this the rattle/squeak is finally gone. It was getting better every time I enlarged the holes more until it finally moved enough that it went away.

    I just tightened all the little bolts and screws in the glass hatch area, I got about an 1/8 turn snugged up out of each one. I'll see if that helps.     Cool thanks. Rules out my worries about my wheel bearings or axles. Yes i think i have brake issues then. I turned one rotor by hand and it gets tougher in one spot, must be warped already. And i didnt get the clips with those pads so i should look into those.

    Youll have to fill me in on what you are having problems with. Do you have the loose rack like i did and have that loose rattle feel in the steering wheel at low speeds? Youre going to love it when you fix it, day and night difference, cheap fix and easy to do. Let me know how it goes

    Did you get a 1" one? I think they are readily available from any parts store if anyone else is looking. 1" works, any more and its overkill and might hurt the rack.

    This is a 1" spring booster. Could be straightened to go along the rack but this works great for me.

    Beefing up Power steering rack.

    You can see i left it in its round shape but could be straightened to go along the rack. This works fine though. The total depth of the coil booster is 1.75" but the inner part is 1" thick so I believe this would be a 1" coil spring booster.
