Yes nasty meaning it sounds badass. I love the way my truck sounds on a cold startup, I'd like to put a cam and maybe headers in the future. Keep up the great work
Nice way to make some cash. I'm in construction as well but got lucky this year and I'm working through the winter. Not everyday because I'm on a scaffold so wind, rain or snow I'm off but still making some good money when I do work. Nice project and stay safe.
Any new update? Did you fix/replace the oil cooler bypass? I have the same exact leak spots, I was told to
change the o ring on the drivers side where the hoses connect. I'll try replacing that on my next oil change and see what that does.
I did my retro 3yrs ago using a complete retro; Hids, ballasts, mini h1 projectors with Gatling gun shrouds from TRS. I used my stock Denali lights, found a used set of oem Denali lights for dirt cheap off Craigslist to use while I took my time with stocks. Output is great looks great and...
Escalade bumpers ain't bad either. I guess I'm lucky since I have a Denali and esky bumper. @Fosscore we were going to make a trip for this week but I got called by my union for another jobsite. I'd love to go but I don't think we're going to go maybe until next winter. Love spending some winter...
Did passenger side moog hub assembly since my abs activates every time I come to a complete stop but didn't fix it. So now going to look at driver side abs sensor and see if that's the problem. Also ordered a couple days ago led fog light bulbs since @Fosscore said they were nice and bright.
No not this summer, I'll see about going to in the winter. Haven't really done anything to her, only try to keep her clean. I've been busy working my side job which is a party rental business, pulling a 12' trailer. Still have spindles sitting in the garage along with my camber kit.
Damn that is one great looking Esky. I'd keep it, hard to come by clean NBS trucks and one with miles like that. Everything has a price but you also have to be happy and not regretting you sold it for too low. Either way good luck with it clean looking ride.
Yes and it'll be faster because I'll know know how to do it and won't need to refer back to videos. Now instead of just getting new upper control arms or just ball joints I have to get an oil pan too. Where is a good place to get one?
So after the first day I use it after replacing the oil pan gasket I notice that there's some oil around the bottom of the pan, looks like I'll be ordering an oil pan and doing that job all over again.
@Bombsquad85 did the same thing yesterday, along with a h02 sensor. Had to go to the dealer to get the oil filter housing gasket after taking everything off, forgot to get that before. Today I'll fill with oil and put wheels back on. Barely and sludge at the bottom of oil pan so pretty happy...
