Oil pickup tube o ring change

Eventually I need to do mine, same vehicle, '08 Denali, almost same mileage. But, for now, my pressure is ok so it hasn't been an urgent priority. 40 cold idle, about 17-18 hot idle.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It was a fun car. Mid 11's all day on drag radials. A few years ago you could still pick them up cheap, the market bottomed out, but over the last few years it's been steadily climbing. I may own another one some day, but for now way too many other things on my automotive bucket list. LOL...

    6.2 Engine Compatibility

Mechanically the 6.2 didn't change really from '07-'14. The only differences are in whether or not it has AFM and FlexFuel capability, but that doesn't keep you from interchanging things as needed. The parts you may or may not have to retain or reuse depending on what you're coming from and...

The clunk on aggressive downshifts I was having seems to be gone, or at least greatly reduced now. I also use to get some weird creaking noises when slowing to a stop then putting it in reverse to backup into a parking spot or something. And also when the front end was going over a speed bump...

Yeah, he was super nice about it and we had a good laugh when I was busy talking with him while grabbing my license and out of habit pulled my debit card out and handed it to him. LOL

What did I do to my Denali today? Used it to get a ticket. Fawk... LOL Clocked at 91....he dropped it to 79 so I can't be mad really. Oh well. Haha...

The consensus is that shorties offer little to nothing over the stock manifolds. As for long tubes, I'm completely with you there. Undeniable the will add horsepower, but they will reduce low/mid range torque, moving the power band higher in the rpm range. In my opinion not what you want with...

Good approach to using the factory style straight links and still off-setting the swaybar. So, using the idea of cutting the factory links in half, removing a little length in the center, then threading the rods/shafts and using a threaded coupling for adjustment is certainly a good budget...

    Gmpartsdirect.com Or???

Yeah, that sucks. If leaving the links just straight was viable, that's a relatively easy fix. Cut the stock ones, thread each end, and get a threaded coupling to make the length adjustable. But in addition to being shorter, the DJM ones are offset and relocate the sway bar a little for...

My new favorite thing is stuff on eBay with the "Make An Offer" option. Hahaha.. I'll shoot them a crazy low offer, they counter, I counter, then I often end up getting things super cheap I was already prepared to just pay market price for. That's what happened on those Timkens. They were...

Also, when I needed a hub and figured I'd go ahead and do both....best deal I found on Timkens....and they were legit after inspecting them post-delivery.

The problem is where/how to buy them. It doesn't seem that DJM sells them separate. Only part of a more expensive rear "kit".

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Figured I'd ask here before creating a dedicated thread... Presently I'm sitting at stock height front, about a 1.5'ish drop in the rear which has me sitting about dead level eliminating that factory rake. At some point the plan is to do a 2/3. Doing a 3 on the rear, are the shorter sway bar...

    Gmpartsdirect.com Or???

Normally I use https://www.gmpartsonline.net to get the part number, then search for the cheapest price between eBay, Amazon, RockAuto, etc. A lot of the online GM parts sellers like Tasc, GM Parts Direct, etc will have cheap prices listed, but then murder you on shipping. I've had hit/miss...

'08 Yukon Denali (so 6.2) For the passenger side I used a Dorman part # 523-240 (the OEM p/n is 23104735) For the driver side, there isn't a non-OEM option so I used the OEM one, p/n 23104736. The driver side mount is a little more difficult to find for some reason, and not sure why Dorman...

Replaced the front differential mounts/brackets today. Overall not a bad/hard job. Driver side mount was a bit of a pain to get out. That's probably what consumed the most time because since I was doing it by myself, I had to constantly keep getting up from under the vehicle to raise/lower...
