Did a catch can that mounted to the passenger side head
Also scored some newer sun visors with the oem LEDs in them. The passenger side visor was broken when we got it so I figured I'd replace both at the same time
Tax time rolls around and we got some new wheels. The tires on the ugly wheels were nitto nt420s in good shape so we went back with a 22" wheel. Got some chrome LTZ replicas mounted up.
Also did the cheap chrome strip on the back bumper And I found a sucker to buy the old wheels. The chrome...
So I figured with new updates I should start a build thread and have everything done shown in one spot. Back in August of last year we traded in our 06 Z71 Tahoe in for this one. It was in great shape with 120k miles on it. Only big gripe with it was the ugly headlights and wheels.
First...
Love the new tahoe. Can't wait to see the 375s on it. I don't blame you for trading up to the newer one. We loved our 06 z71 but it still felt dated and older. When we got the 08 we definitely felt like we were driving a newer vehicle. You'll find that a decent amount of the escalade parts will...

3.5s will fit if you cut the metal behind it. my friend installed jlaudio tr350s in his wifes 06 Yukon. next time he drives it to work ill snap some pics of the install.
I searched YouTube and found a few videos on how to replace it without having to dismantle the hatch. Start to finish I had mine replaced in 2 minutes.
Gotcha I ran a similar head unit ddx492 (just like yours but an excelon unit with HD) in our 06 Tahoe and it sounded fine. It did at first sound poop-ish but with some tuning it so sounded way better.
The gmos04 is a plug and play system that shouldn't take out any gauges. It's a straight up wire color for color. The kenwood only goes up to 35 so if it distorts at 32 then that should make sense. It's not designed to go full tilt like the under powered oem head unit. You need to do some more...
