    New 2025 Tahoe Taillights

That’s fine. Them not doing that wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. The main thing here is the aesthetic.

    21 Yukon Rainsense Wipers

Glad I found this post. We bought our Yukon used. Noticed that the wipers would go full blast even at the slightest amount of rain. Closer inspection revealed that the windshield had been replaced by the previous owners. Just ordered a new sensor. Fingers crossed!

Replacing red GMC letters on front grill

Plasti dip FTW. It’s durable. How do I know? Have been taking it once a week through the touchless car wash with zero issues.

    New 2025 Tahoe Taillights

I’m sure they’ll fit with a custom harness. Back in the day I retrofitted 2018+ LED tail lights onto my 2016 F-150. I made custom harnesses for them. It was super easy to do thanks to very detailed instructions written up by member of the F150 forum. Someone here has the technical chops to do...

Thoughts on 25 Yukon Denali giant screen?

Quite the opposite, the previous one looks a hell of a lot more integrated. It doesn’t have that ugly ass cheapo looking plastic bezel around it, front and center. The pictures I posted speak for themselves.

Thoughts on 25 Yukon Denali giant screen?

Giant screens aside, why does it look like GMC took a step backwards with the digital instrument cluster? Previous gen one(22-24) looks more modern and less obvious. Plus it doesn’t have a hideous cheap looking bezel.

    AT4 versus Denali

The main difference is that the 21-24 Denali has a bespoke interior vs all of the other trims.

GMC denali yukon 2022 mysterious noise sounds like something hits underneath car behind drivers seat

Do you know if the engine was replaced? My 2022 had its engine replaced and the tech at the dealership didn’t torque down the crossmember bolts down all the way. Dealt with an absolutely annoying clunk on turns for months before I was able to find what it was with my current dealers help.

Buyers guide for 2022 Yukon Denali?

I suggest you take a look in the Engine forum. You’ll get an idea of the common issues that 6.2l owners have experienced.

Little vs big V8 2025 Tahoe

I agree with one exception. If I was shopping for a new vehicle I would look for one with air ride. The way you worded it made it sound like it’s a deal breaker without it. It’s not if the deal is a very good one for one that say has max tow but not air ride. Back when I was in the market for my...

Little vs big V8 2025 Tahoe

Air ride is a good thing to have but to say it’s a must is a bit of an exaggeration. A properly setup WDH can get rid of the majority of the squat. My XL tows our Sundance 24BH like it’s not even there up here in the mountains of Idaho.

    Expedition Max to Yukon XL?

I paid $54k out the door. But I bought the vehicle at a dealer auction. Comparable ones(year/mileage/trim/xl) were selling for around $68k otd at nearby dealerships.

    2025 Yukon Denali Warranty

lol looks like they’re still doing this. My ‘22 has one side sticking out like 2 inches more than the other.

Thoughts on 25 Yukon Denali giant screen?

A bit off topic, but one thing that I do like on the 2025’s is the thicker steering wheel. Wondering if it’ll be possible to swap it over into my 2022.

Software update that must be performed at a dealership

I think this thread is a classic example of "no news is good news". I'm pretty sure 99.9% of these get done without a hitch. But nobody is going to go out of their to way make a thread or post about a software flash was done correctly. That's already the expectation. It's those who end up having...

Software update that must be performed at a dealership

For what it’s worth, I asked my dealer if they had any reported issues with any vehicles that got this update at their facility. They said no. Service advisor said that they had flashed hundreds of vehicles without any issues. So that’s why I decided to risk it for the biscuit. Came out just...

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

Thanks for the explanation. I’ve always wondered how the values correlated to the markings on the dipstick. My mechanic brother in law just messaged me and said to leave it, not enough to be considered “overfilled”.

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

Figured it would be overfilled by a little since the fumoto valve isn’t the fastest draining thing. Plus I’m pretty sure the lube techs don’t check the level - probably dump all 8 quarts as per instructions and move on.

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

Just got this done. Can’t believe they charge $158 for an oil change sans coupon. Checked the level approx 30 minutes after engine shut off. Looks overfilled by about 1/2 a quart. Leave it or drain some out(I have a fumoto valve on the pan)?

Just picked up my ‘22 Yukon XL from the dealer. Zero issues with the previously reported non-functioning features post-update.

Thoughts on 25 Yukon Denali giant screen?

I can echo the same thoughts, specifically about the new Tahoe/Suburban. I stopped by our local dealer to have a look. That new center infotainment cluster is executed very well. Did not have a chance to look at the Yukon since they didn't have any on their lot yet.
