Going through this old thread and randomly saw this comment. I'd kind of forgotten about the rear windshield sprayer until recently and finally got around to fixing it (almost 5 years later lol). Turns out the hose was just pulled out of a connection that was easily accessible under the hood...
I installed a Pioneer AVH-1300NEX head unit about five years ago in order to use Apple Carplay and for the most part it's worked pretty well--however, about a year ago it developed a weird issue where the display doesn't automatically switch to the backup camera when I shift into reverse. I...
Thanks man! She had some back pain but was able to make a full recovery. We’ve had two kids since then and are doing great. I’m actually in the market for a new Tahoe now lol
If they're building the vehicle for you then I assume the model year is basically just determined by when it's actually completed, right? If it takes until next January to roll off the line then I don't see how they could call it a '22.
I've been planning on ordering a 2022 Suburban but keep...
Just found this thread because my Tahoe has a coolant leak. I haven't noticed any liquid on the ground or anything, but last week my radiator fans started turning out and the engine was running slightly hotter than normal. When I checked under the hood my coolant tank was almost empty so I...
Basically I had just been living with a seat that wouldn’t move forward at all until I realized one day it had to be the control switch itself and checked Amazon for a replacement. There are a few YouTube videos that show how to replace it but it’s very simple. Just make sure you don’t...
Finally got around to changing out the power seat switch for my drivers seat. The seat hasn't been able to move forward for awhile, but all other directions worked. Overall it was a pretty simple repair.
Originally I tried to leave the seat back adjustment handle attached and not pull the...

Mine has been driving me crazy recently. Not sure if I just have a bad lightning cable, but whenever the phone comes unplugged the CarPlay shuts off and it goes back to the head units normal interface screen. It's been doing that every time the phone gets bumped or slightly moved, which is...
How do you like the wireless CarPlay? I installed a 1300 NEX in my Tahoe awhile back specifically for CarPlay but it's wired only. Everything I read at the time said that wireless CarPlay had a really annoying delayed response, which I've noticed when just playing my phone over Bluetooth...
Yep I've definitely still got that activated. I'm not sure if they changed something about it in the 2010 and later years when they made a few subtle updates to the NNBS, but I've always felt like my 2011 Tahoe doesn't switch to 4 cylinders as often as the 2008 Tahoe did. Either way, I never...
I love it. I actually had the same SLP tip/resonator delete on the last tahoe that was wrecked by the drunk driver. It sounds great when you combine it with an Airaid intake tube and K&N air filter, so I did that exact same setup on this one. I haven't actually changed the muffler so I don't...
Yep, I had this issue on my last Tahoe probably like 5 or 6 years ago and messing with it would solve the problem temporarily but eventually the cruise control would go out again. Since it's a $10, ten minute fix I didn't even bother messing around with the one that was in there already and...
I have the Pioneer 1300NEX and really like it. Check out the build thread in my sig for install and more details.
I got it specifically for Apple Carplay. At the time I didn't realize that carplay doesn't work wirelessly with it but I later learned that the more expensive units with...
Got an oil change the other day with Mobil 1 Extended and then did the SLP resonator delete the following day. At this point I've got a K&N air filter, Airaid MIT, resonator deleted and SLP tips. Tempted to upgrade the muffler next.
Did the SLP resonator delete the other day after Camelcamelcamel sent me an alert that the SLP tips had dropped to $90 on amazon. Definitely sounds louder, though the tone really doesn't seem that much different. Now I'm fighting the urge to throw a Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler on the Hoe...
Forgot to mention in my last post that I noticed the cruise control starting to work intermittently the other day. This isn’t my first Tahoe so luckily I knew immediately to order a new brake switch. Installed in about 5-10 minutes.
