From the TB? That doesn't mean throttle body right? I do have the clutch fan so I'll have a fun time getting that off.
Yea I think it may be the weep hole, where should I look to determine if that is the case? The underside of the engine?
I just recently made a drive to Jersey and back over the last weekend. On the way home the truck was squeaking a lot from the engine bay, however with the pouring rain we had that morning I thought nothing of it. However now I'm home and the squeaking continues along with the truck puking...
I have been trying to replace my front differential actuator but this thing really does not want to come out. I've used channel locks to no avail. Are there any tips or tricks to get this thing to come out?
My front driver's window has decided to stop rolling up, it'll roll down normally, but when I press up on the switch it jumps up maybe 1/2 inch or so and then won't move at all. Does that sound like a window regulator?
I found these fender flares on a suburban on expo, however they won't fit my Tahoe.

Does anyone know of a Riveted flare that would fit the Tahoe?
Aside from crazy...
Just curious, if the transfer case shifts into 4lo and drives like it's in 4lo, why would the front tires not receive power? Assuming the front diff actuator is all good.
I have an 02, with the auto 4wd button, I'm hoping to get some time soon to get under the truck and poke around, really hoping it's the actuator.
I haven't heard any abnormal noises from underneath nothing loud or otherwise
Ok, so now I just drove the truck again, just because I was curious I hit the 4lo button in neutral, and then the truck drove as though it was in 4lo (revving higher, driving slower, etc.) So could this mean it's the front diff not locking? Still have to get it on a lift and find out if the...
I have never done a rebuild before, so any info or guides would be greatly appreciated, I have an 02 so I assume that's the earlier version? NP246 is the correct transfer case for the 02 trucks right?
Will probably be sourcing a core and then rebuilding that to replace it, since I'm not sure how long I will take to do the whole thing.
(I'll do a write up on that when the time comes)
As I said in the beginning I'll be adding as I go along, I want to make a guide with links for how-to videos and parts, etc.
It's a work in progress since my "maintenance" is taking up most of my time (busted t-case)
Hopefully before the end of the month I'll complete everything with links, etc.
You got the core and parts for $300? How hard was it to rebuild everything? Any special tools required
I'm planning on it, going to save up for the Tech2 and hopefully have one in a month or so.
Praying it's not a blown up tcase since that's expensive, Hopefully it's an actuator, just have to wait for the weather to get better before I can get a look underneath and see what's up.
Does it take a certain amount of time to throw a service 4wd light? It only happened yesterday so maybe...
So if I don't hear the actuator that would mean it's the problem? I haven't heard the actuator moving at all, the only thing that changes is the light on the switch.
What would be different so that I'd know I'm in Neutral? The switch lights up for whichever option I select but it doesn't actually go into it, even with 4hi or 4lo lit up it won't actually power the front wheels.
