Painting interior panels - problem
I just did a few panels and my Dash ( 05 Tahoe ) . What I did was pressure wash the parts which took 90% of the oem paint off then I bought the SEM line of rattle cans they carry GM colors and prep , adhesion promoter , and clear ( that was the hard choice ) I got the satin clear and didn't... -
Front end noise
I just installed new front upper control arms, inner and outer tie rod links, pitman, idler arm and gear ( all ac Delco pro ) so everything is new also added steering stabilizer, its getting aligned right now didn't hear a peep out of it ....rear is next but I thought I would go Spohn but now...- setconstr

Front end noise
Replaced the intermediate shaft today but still hear the sort od creak when turning at Low speed . On to the next thing tomorrow I have the Pitman arm and Idler arm and gear all ac delco professional.- setconstr

I have the new shaft to install along with a steering damper a carpet kit my whole dash an mtx subwoofer and amp some 07 front calipers .......Thats pretty easy one I may tackle it tomorrow- setconstr

I have the 3/5 Bell tech lowering kit on my 05 Tahoe with 22" wheels . A complete kit , spindles , sway bars, shocks, etc. when I turn the wheel at low speed I hear a kind of clunk in the front end what do you think this is ? Thanks- setconstr

Subwoofer question
Can you wire a different rear subwoofer to the Bose amp by just not using the front subwoofer any longer cutting the wires and splicing to those wires or do you need a mono block separate amp installed ? Thanks- setconstr

2003 gmc yukon slt overhead manual climate control suppose to be lighted???
Mine are, it's the rear overhead that's not lite on mine wonder if that is supposed to be lite also ? -
Floor shifter ?
Just wondered if anyone has switched their column shifter the floor I see the B&M type some look good and I also wonder if you can get a column shift delete for for an 05 Tahoe -
Dashboard core frame replacement
I'm so Pissed off that this happened but time to move forward. I had Bell Tech sway bars and Nitro shocks added to my o5 Tahoe I already had the bell tech 3/5 drop kit in that was all nice. While it was there my antenna was broken and the stereo shop next door said they would replace it no prob... -

So as it turned out there was nothing at all wrong with my rear blower motor it was all in the shabby work done to add a roof mounted DVD player. The harness was cut and stuffed into the headliner with a climate controller taped to the harness but it made the front rear control only work on... -

So I think I found the problem there is an aftermarket DVD player in place of the original overhead unit whoever did it was complete hack ! I pulled it down and there is a wiring mess with a manual HVAC switch all taped up and I have no idea what to do with it I don't think there was an oem... -

So I replaced the actuator, the resistor, the blower motor, the overhead control, all the fuses are good but it only runs on number 2 . I have the HVAC control module but mine is a bit different then most I see it's not mounted on the outside of the blower unit, mine looks exactly like the... -

Thank You ! I bought some msd coils, wiring and powder coated valve covers so I'm down for a few days then I'll get it . I think I should have worded my question about " What Tune " a bit different , I just wondered what tune people would recommend since I just mostly freeway drive and wasn't...- setconstr

My question was about the tune which it seems neither of you know ......I'm busy with my job so I don't have a lot of time a week is Great but a guy has a utube video it took him 6 weeks. Hopefully I can get an answer about the tune I'm very patient just busy- setconstr

So I have an 05 Tahoe LS. 128k miles looks good, runs good. I have installed a K&N filter charger and 3" catback with a Magnaflow muffler. It has a bunch of cosmetic stuff all murdered out with 22" wheels and complete Bell Tech suspension lowering kit, sway bars, Nittro shocks. I don't really...- setconstr

Its all back together now but here is a schematic of the way mine is. I believe that it's my blower motor so I can replace that or take to the dealership and let them figure it out .....I tried -
