    Should I replace the battery?

I ran the yellowtop with a stock setup for a little bit, but I installed a system not too long after getting the yellowtop. The battery has held up pretty good, and hasn't quit on me yet. It starts up the truck with ease (no matter if it's cold or hot) and I've had it for 4 years now. I like it...

My 2003 Tahoe that was recovered after theft!

I think that another guy had already tried putting a backdoor handle on the front door, but it didn't work. He said the mechanisms were a little different, and hence, couldn't be used interchangeably. They sell jimmy jammer kits that go right behind these key holes to prevent this type of theft...

    Damn... i mean dang condensation

I've heard of putting some type of alcohol in there to displace the water. It'll dry up pretty clean when flipped upside down. And yes, the foglight lens does come off. Mine actually was coming loose when I cleaned the lens from the outside with that kit from Advance Autoparts. I sealed the lens...

    tune up

Well I installed some Bosch Platinum/Iridium Fusion spark plugs like 2.5 years/40k miles ago and they have held up pretty good. They made the truck run smoother, and it still runs smooth. They are installed on my '02 Z71 Tahoe 5.3L. I don't know how they'll behave in the 5.7L, but they are...

    Snow and drops

By what I have seen on here from other peoples' rides, they sometimes put on stock rims/tires during the winter and the bigger rims/tires during the spring/summer/fall. People with the harsher weather do this (from what I have noticed). But you should be good either way.

bottom of tailgate weather strip driving me nuts help!

If it still seals fine, but doesn't stick then I would put some glue. Mine started to fall off when I went to the beach, but it still sealed fine so I glued it. I used some epoxy glue, which turns into hard plastic. So, you don't need that much for it to stay glued with epoxy.

Pics of the new wheels on my truck

IMO the rims are kinda giving a theme opposite to the truck. The truck is mostly black with a little chrome/silver and the rims are mostly silver with a little black. I think you should paint the center of the rims black to keep the same theme going as you did with the other set.

    i just can't win

Yes overfilling can cause you headaches....I mean leaks. The extra quart more than likely caused your leak(s). That's another reason I don't take my vehicle to other people for regular maintenance.

    installing projector lights with halos

If it voids the warranty then I guess they are too hot for the housing, which kinda sucks because then you're limited to regular bulbs or 35W HID's. A lot of people put HID's in projector housings and use the 35W bulb setup. Just something you might want to consider since the 35W bulb should...

    installing projector lights with halos

If you want them on when your lights come on at night then hook them up to the parking lights (the wire that leads to the parking lights that DON'T blink). They'll turn on when you have your parking lights on and not necessarily when your headlights come on. They'll be on when you have your...

What material are they made out of? Some aluminum wheels would really help out with that gas mileage.

I have an issue, need some help.

TheBeast99 is right. Look for something that is staying on. My friend and I installed his cutout in his exhaust and his car started to have this problem. Well I checked it out and it turned out that the light on the switch for the cutout would stay on all the time. So, I had to place another...

    What octane fuel ?

Yes, but that's only certain parts of your setup. I'm talking about the aluminum. Of course vehicles have been setup to WITHSTAND the ethanol fuels, but that doesn't change the fact that it still eats the top end of the motor (aluminum heads). The E85 doesn't have a correct octane rating of 105...
