    finally got the new system

    i still have to get the grilles for them. my last setup was literally torn apart because something made a very small hole in the sub, and over time the excursion ripped that pup to pieces. so i went with the L7s, which are glued and stiched. awaiting payday to go back and get the two grilles.

    im with you on this one. i really get upset when things go wrong with my truck. it just gets annoying after a while knowing you have to live with some shit not working in your hoe. i always think "it's fine, i'll have a new car one day". thats what keeps me going

    yup 900 with tax and labor included. my friend got this same setup for 1000 without tax and install but that was from a guy who ran his own business. as for the hu and the speakers im not to fond of them. i have a jvc kdr-200, im fine with that. but my speakers are terrible, i have blaukpunt set...

    most likely your RCA cables. are they run on the opposite side of the power wire? are they thick?

    no its always dry back there. the problem was that the tinsel lead connection on the speaker came off, and since one was hot wired to the other, both went out. after i soldered it back on it was fine but the other one still wasnt working. i saw a calcium build up on it and threw it away and...

    i havent heard of any benefit but since the EGR recycles fumes, I'm guessing you could gain some power by blocking it off.

    the total was just over $900. Included 2 12" kicker L7s, sealed/ported box, rockford 500.2 amp, install and threw in an extra 25 because the amp didn't come with a bass knob. here are a few pics. I think as of now I'm doing like 1000 RMS. This thing is insanely loud.

    im running two 12" kicker l7s and i have a stock alternator. you'll be fine. dimming and voltage drops are normal.

    i have reason to believe its part of the motor for the seat. wires run into it and it feels like some sort of chip is making that vinyl pouch a home

    this is the first time this has ever happened to me since ive owned this truck. i have heard that the rears go out. any way i was cleaning up my system when i noticed that the rears were not playing. they are hooked up, all the fuses on the sidewall are fine. i have no idea what to do, help me...
