The after pick at the top of this thread was after the 5100's front and rear, but before the new rear coils. I discovered the broken rear coil when installing the rear spacers of the CCM kit. This pic is with the new moog coils.
It rode OK but the springs had 84K on them. The reason I replaced them is one had a small 3" piece broken off the end of the coil where it allows the spring to wrap around the perch. The new ones feel a bit stiffer but not harsh at all. Feels better to me and since I tow a boat, prefer something...
Installed a Tru-Cool 40k trans cooler this morning. Even though I have the tow package, no trans cooler included. Thanks GM. Anyway, all done, no leaks and way cooler trans temps now.

Here's mine with CCM 2.5/1 kit installed. Still on 275/55r20's. Gonna go 275/60 or 65's but have too much tread now so I'll wait till I need tires. Put 5100's in when I did the CCM kit.
I am going to replace color matched door handles for chrome. Does anyone know a good brand to use or stick with oem. I know these break easily and hoped to find a better option if there is one.

So I installed an under hood light like my '98 Suburban has. It is the old school mercury style switch that comes on when the hood is open. $10 shipped from ebay and about an hour to figure out cable routing and location to not drill through the hood and connect the fuse holder to power it...
I am suffering from a fair amount of condensation in my drivers side headlight. I am going to try to remove and reseal before replacing it. Are there common areas that tend to leak or is it just random at any place the clear cover mates to the housing. I have read about drilling a drain hole...
That is correct. With the CCM 1" spacer installed in the rear, the new springs raised the rear 5/8" over the OE springs with the spacer installed. I am assuming they may settle out a little over time. Ride is great with the Bilsteins and new rear springs. Also installed new sway bar bushings and...
I am getting ready to install a tranny cooler and want to plumb it in after the in radiator cooler and before the fluid goes back to the transmission. Is the upper or lower cooler line on the radiator flowing back to the trans. Cannot find a diagram of the 6L80. It's on a 2009 Yukon XL SLT.
Thanks,
My lumbar didn't do anything. I opened the seat to see why and found the problem. Has anyone been able to source the gears or a new motor? How about a part number? It looks easy enough to repair if parts can be found without spending $200.
