    Bilstein Shocks 4600 vs 5100

I have 5100`s and they`re pretty stiff. I went to them from blown out autoride shocks so anything would be stiffer than that. I think i have about 10-15k on them and they ride the same as the day they i put them on.

6.0 Cold Air Is Way Too Loud At 75, How do you shut it up!

I don`t have a 6.0 but i have a spectre cai with an aem filter, Catback and a BB tune and just like #1taho i only hear any noise when hitting the gas hard off the line or free revving the engine for a second and unless you`re trying to hear it you almost never notice it.

P0449 evap code - Replaced parts, code remains

Lighten up francis, I had to go in and shut the light off when i had an issue with the evap so i need not stop trying to help someone with my experience in this matter. It`s not like i told him it would be ok to run his engine with no oil lol. And don`t call me dude, I don`t ride a horse, Thanks.

    Denali XL towing

I also forgot to add that if you have no trailer brakes and you go down a hill that weight will start to push you and possibly begin weaving uncontrollably and could cause you to crash. I got a cheap tandem axle camper to put on my property and the brakes didn`t work and that happened to me in...

    Denali XL towing

Considering the fact that the towing capacity is around 7200 pounds i would say no. A trailer that can hold a five ton truck has to weigh at least 5000 pounds. So you would be doubling the capacity with no trailer brakes. If you were going a few miles down the road i`d say it`s ok but no...

Race gas safe for 02 sensors

If it`s leaded fuel it could hurt O2 sensors and catalytic convertors but i would imagine using it once and a while would be harmless especially if you dilute it. Are you using it in your truck?

    Auto ride

You can but i imagine you would have to get them from a dealer and no doubt they`ll be expensive but you can use any shock you want, Just get shocks for a non autoride yukon.

    Auto ride

Then it`s a simple as replacing the shocks. You can get resistors to make the service ride control message on the DIC go away but i just hit the button on the steering wheel to make it go away.

    Auto ride

The most likely culprit is either the compressor has died or the shocks have worn out and have holes. You can easily replace them with parts from https://www.arnottindustries.com/ Autoride doesn`t lift the truck, It has sensors that fill the air shocks returning the ride to level when you have...

    Oil Change Interval

P0449 evap code - Replaced parts, code remains

I did a little looking around and some people`s filler necks return line had rot holes causing the code. If you don`t live in the rust belt i can`t imagine that would be your problem.

    Traction Active

There are sensors on all four corners. I had the same thing happen and it was the front speed sensor, I was still under warranty at the time and the stealership replaced the whole hub. I`m not sure about how they figured out which one it was.

P0449 evap code - Replaced parts, code remains

Did you go in and clear the code? If you don`t clear it the check engine light will stay on even though you fixed the problem. If not you can get a cheap code reader that will also clear codes for twenty dollars or the torque app on your phone and a bluetooth obd2 adapter.

    Debating on longtubes

They sell a header/ y pipe combo but it`s an off road pipe, No cats. If there are no emissions tests where you live you can have the cats tuned out. When and if i get headers i would most likely have my exhaust shop make up a Y pipe with cats for me to stay legal...

    Debating on longtubes

That`s very cheap for headers plus a catted Y pipe. I looked at the sellers negative feedback but they hide the actual item that was sold but there were more than a few complaints about fitment issues but who knows what part they were talking about. The fact that they dont list the part makes...

    Debating on longtubes

I`ve been contemplating getting a set of these, http://www.speed-engineering.com/shop-by-vehicle/1999-13-lsx-trucks/exhaust/headers/speed-engineering-truck-suv-1-3-4-longtube-headers-1999-2006.html At least a few guys here are running them and from what i remember they really liked them.

    Transmission dipstick question

Try checking it after driving around for a while so it`s warm and idling. If it`s low add a little at a time until it`s full, It`s much easier to add more than drain some out if you overfill it.
