I`m not sure what the groaning noise could be, When mine died it just sat a few inches lower but the ride was not much different.
What you could try is to put some weight in the back to see if the compressor kicks on with the extra weight and also leave it in there for a while and see how low...
Yeah, I got them for $275 from Seven saturdays on ebay. They`re going on tomorrow then getting an alignment. The only thing i don`t like so far is that there is no hole for a cotter pin, It has a lock nut but i plan on double nutting it just in case...
Got a set of rare parts inner and outer tie rods for the yukon. I`m getting sick of replacing the Tiny OE crap every three years so i hope these will last a lot longer.
I would have them check for leaks in the shocks. In the short time my autoride actually worked correctly the compressor would kick on for about 5-10 seconds after sitting over night.
When my warranty ran out i threw the autoride parts in the trash after a new compressor lasted about two years...
It would be much easier rebuilding a 6.0 that will bolt right in. A mild build can easily make 400+ horsepower. And depending how much power you`re looking for you`ll probably want to put a better transmission in because the 4l60e won`t take much more than stock unless you have a very light foot.
Yes, That`s all you need but it`s a great time to add some braided stainless brake lines to replace the old rubber ones while you have everything apart.
When my stepper motor went the gauge read 0 with the engine on and off. When my sending unit went it was pegged at 80 like yours.
I tried to change it but i couldn`t get my hands in there no matter what i tried. I gave up and called my friend who is a tiny little guy and he had it replaced in...
I looked into this a little bit more and it looks like the clock spring could break triggering the airbag light and the horn will also not work. So i guess if the horn works the search continues.
A few friends of mine have 50 inch light bars on their 08 and 10 silverados and they bought mounts like this that bolt to the door jamb so you don`t have to drill the roof. They were easy to install and work great...
It all depends on the shop you go to. The garage i used to work at was a small place and my boss didn`t charge to scan a car because most of the time it lead to us getting the money to repair it. I would call around to get some prices.
I replaced my seized up hoist years ago with one that looks a little different than the one it replaced like this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2010-Chevy-GMC-Spare-Tire-Mounting-Hoist-OEM-BRAND-NEW-Genuine-19259450-/321196440888?fits=Make%3AChevrolet
The nice thing about it is that it doesn`t...
I have a flowmaster 50 series HD three chamber muffler, It`s a little shorter and thinner than the 50 suv and from what everyone tells me it`s pretty damn loud and hear me coming from a block away but i have a custom cat back with three inch pipe from the Y to the muffler and dual two and a half...
Here`s a decent writeup on how to remove and clean it. With 245k on the clock and if it`s never been cleaned i would bet that`s your problem.

I have to apologize, I misread your post and thought you were having the typical problem of not being able to fill the tank.
Does it happen at different gas stations or do you always fill up a the same one? I doubt it but maybe there`s a problem with the gas pump shut off system.
When i had...
