    Losing oil

    Climb under the truck and look for your leak. If there`s oil all over and you can`t pinpoint the leak clean it up as best you can and let the truck idle and climb back under and watch where it comes from and let us know where it`s coming from.

    I have a spectre cai, They come with an oiled filter but i swapped an AEM dry cone filter. They`re washable and i bought two so i always have a clean one waiting in the garage when it`s time to change it. I`m pretty sure i got them on ebay.

    Personally i would never go that long between changes even with a good oil like mobil 1. I use royal purple and they say you can run it for 12k but i change at 6k. It`s cheap enough to change for me to wait that long.

    I have three friends with the 8.1 and every one of them has had the exhaust manifold leak so i bet that`s your problem as well. For the rough idle i would start with cleaning the MAF and the throttle body and if that doesn`t work, Plugs and wires.

    I would pull the belt off and spin every pulley and wiggle them to find which one is bad. Don`t forget about the A/C tensioner pulley, Mine went bad and was making a hell of a noise.

    This is the kit but it says it doesn`t fit models with the auto leveling suspension. I have no idea why it wouldn`t fit because it just goes inside the coil spring. Maybe give them a call and ask why it won`t fit...
