    also depends on what you are working on. dirt vs concrete and even asphalt. metal ramps could sink in dirt since they are more point loaded. I have had them sink on asphalt on a hot day; You come out after a brake and the truck is 4" lower...

    It is important to put a block of wood behind tires and use jack stands when under vehicle. But I think investing in 4 jack stands would be better investment. Get the tall/heavy duty ones.

    Have a 2004 tahoe z71. is there any damage to cluster face? I am looking at adding the trany temp to my cluster. Would you happen to have the needles would you. Do you know if it is possible to swap out the tahoe face for the denali? tks.

    do a search. there are many write ups on fixing. I think it is 'blend' door that controls air flow? I have to fix mine too. You should be able to fix yourself.

    When i did water test. we sprayed diff areas. sun roof and windshield showed nothing. It was when it was on door that it started coming in fast, at location shown in pics.

    Hi Jxdri, check to see if you have AC on when it leaks. If so, it is most probably condensate pan/drain that is plugged. If so, shoot some air through it from under truck and it should clear it up. This occurs on all cars. Hope that helps.

    no. its water. but actually, i pulled trim up the other day and it was completely under. It was parked when i first noticed it after a major rain fall. I will do the water test once it dries up and post what i find here. No rust under yet. I think it is fairly new.
