    I have not... I should try my other key as well. It could possibly be button issue if it thinks i hit it twice (bad contact point inside remote). I could try cleaning remote as well. i just thought it would be more serious issue.

    we have tinted windows in rear. Aren't all z71 tahoe's tinted? I love the tint. definitely helps.

    Nice. I love the white gauges, but my preference would be for the black at top and left, to hide the symbols when they are not lit up.

    Yeah. It is short WB. I also have the third row seats, but I take them out at times. I assume the right cover will cover entire area to the back of second row of seats? Does the lack of fit have to do with the cutouts on edges? because interior width should be the same.

    If it is going to be under the carpet, I would not worry about it. Keep an eye on it, but if you got rid of the rust, and painted, you should be golden. If this was an antique, i would say, sure.. cut it out, weld in new section. These trucks rust all over. The rust proofing is terrible.

    both of you are in the wrong forum. This is 2000-2006 area? I would imagine you may have more luck looking in the ones for your trucks as there are a lot of differences between the generations.
