http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66001&highlight=blend+heat This will walk you through reprogram. All it does is figure the min, and max movement of the blend door by actuator. Make sure there is nothing blocking the blend door when it does this. Alternatively, if work is...
I looked at this too. but overlays are expensive. As are needles, lights, etc... Plus fact that once you are completely done, something else might fail. I have a dead gauge and a few dead lights. I would love to add the temp gauge but leaning toward a upgraded cluster with warranty.
This is what i did and it worked for me.

Recalibrate once they are installed and before you put cover on. you should see them move. Don't recalibrate if they are not installed as they will go to zero position and...
So a while back, I replaced my rear controller for HVAC in my 2004 Tahoe. Here is thread on that.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66001&highlight=blend+heat
I have noticed that when i get in my truck, turn on ignition, HVAC is off. I hear a constant whirring noise of...
Did you go through the re-learning process? System needs to be recalibrate after you install.
Plus, you said you moved door manually? how did you do that? I read that you need to be careful and doing so can damage the unit. I took mine apart and lifted up the gear manually to recenter it so...
So I put the new take offs on two days ago. pumped up tires to 35 (the 2015 tahoe recommended tire pressure setting). They run nice.
I finally got the 'tire sensor replace' or something similar code to come up. But there did not seem to be any beeping or bells. Is there anything else that...
I am looking for a cargo cover for a 2004 tahoe Z71. It seems like the cargo cover for 2000-2006 were all the same.
Located in the DC area but heading up to boston this friday 6/19/15. If anyone has one available for reasonable price?
Thanks.
I checked on Cars.com
GVWR Loaded max weight
2004 is 6,800 lbs
2015 is 7,300 lbs
Curb weight
2004 is 5,262 lbs
2015 is 5,545 lbs
GAWR Axle weight
2004 front 3,600, Rear is 3,750
2015 front 3,600, Rear is 4,100
Not much of a difference.
So i just installed 2015 wheels with the stock ties on my 2004 tahoe Z71. Can anyone tell me what the 2015 tahoe tire pressure should be with the stock 18" tires?
Also, what is the weight of the 2015 tahoe with 4 wheel drive. I think it says it on the door panel.
Thanks.
So I just installed GM 2015 tires and with 18" wheels i picked up off CL this afternoon. They guy had a 2015 Tahoe. They look Super nice... My truck is a 2004 tahoe Z71.
I checked the pressure and the 2015 tires all had about 35-36psi in them. The 2004 is supposed to run on 30psi. I assumed I...
I stitched mine up with some thread. So far so good. But it was hard to do without going into foam a bit. I agree, spending near 200$ to replace a seat cushion on a used car nearing 10yrs is tough choice. I can't justify it. But if your ride is super nice and you got the cash, best way to go...
Nothing, unfortunately. Problem was occurring more when a friend was in passenger seat. But wife says it only happens occasionally. Maybe not as bad a problem as I thought. But i searched and found nothing about how to do maintenance on seat belts. probably due to liability, it is a throw out...
So I have started noticing a weird noise coming from driver side window. It is like the noise when you click button to get window up and then it makes a few noises as the window stops at top of track then settles in a little. It is not clicking or squeaking. Seems to happen more when i hit a...
Go through the learning mode with actuator in your hand and see if it cycles. I had done an extensive write up on the rear (if you search with my handle) with good description of how to adjust them.
If it cycles back and forth, then it is working. Your next step is replacing the controller...
I posted about a similar issue on front passenger. Never got many responses, nor could I find anything in shop manual. I would imagine you could lubricate but does not seem it is done.
There are some small drainage holes on bottom so I am sure you get some bigger grit coming through there but it must be minimal.

I did not know about the 'catch can'. Any pictures of this? Interesting...
So while under the truck last weekend, I saw a lot of salt residue, even after i had power washed. Either I did not do a good job, or it is that new brine crap that does not wash off easy.
I picked up a gallon of Flitz MG 01210 Light Brown Magnesium Chloride remover and will give it a try. it...
So, I had gotten many of the parts to start replacing brake lines and realized there were a lot more linear feet of brake lines on these trucks (I come from working on non ABS vehicles). Does anyone know how many feet of brake line is required?
Also, when under my vehicle, i noticed the rear...
