And that 25psi is normal. When hot both my envoy Denali and 2007 Yukon Denali have the same oil pressure. Sometimes even go down to 19psi. I drive to Texas weekly and have been driving with that oil pressure at hot idle for three years now. Envoy Denali has 188k with major oil leaks and 07 Yukon...
So just to clarify this is normal behavior when driving long distances? I aborted a trip today thinking it was the battery or alternator. Got thirty miles out and 12.8 volts. Turned truck off then back on and back at 14 voltd
I hope that's all it is. I'll have to look and see Today. Here's the thread

Yes I had the same problem with my envoy Denali. Maybe once or twice a month I lose communication with TCM and the transmission acts just like you describe. I did alot of research and most day to replace transmission harness. Really isn't hard. It's just a couple of plugs on the valve body
I wish I knew someone that worked there. My 6.2 has a knock that comes and goes. I always expect the worse so now im trying to save up to build another for my yukon. Haven't really gotten a chance to get under the truck but sounds like it might be a wrist pi . Really need it to to be at 100...

Just get a replacement valve body and tranamission wiring harness and be through with it. Check you grounds too. If that doesn't work ditch the 4 speed crap box and swap in an 6 speed auto for 2k
Well your truck is dead lol. Nah just messing with you. Mine is the same. I have slight knock when it warms up but disappears after ten minutes driving.
Mine knocks when it warms up then goes away after ten minutes. Sounds like a rod knock. It hasn't gotten any louder. I've had the truck two months now. 2007 Yukon Denali
this happened to me the other day but it was because i was using scantool.nets bluetooth obd. i forgot i left it in and started the truck and got everything you got. transmission starting in second gear. for your problem i would clean the grounds in engine bay and maybe change brake pedal...
I have the same noise except it's really bad when backing up and louder than yours. If people are standing around the truck when it happens they look to see where it's coming from lmao. Embarrassing. I have the same noise on my envoy Denali. It's the control arm bushings. Might be the same for...
